Our first guy was very professional. He was clean cut, looked and spoke professionally. He arrived in the time window that was specified. Unlike the other company that we had company out 2 months, he did not clank his equipment down my wood stairs. He was able to gently lower his machines and tools down. He went through the correct access to the pipes unlike the other company who just ripped up our toilet. This guy it was very clear he knew what he was doing. He cleaned up after himself. And he only took around 30 minutes. Unfortunately for us because of the sticking in the pipe, we had to schedule another appointment for a scope of the pipes. They were able to get us scheduled for the next day. Employee Michael came out for the scoping. He arrived within the window of time that we were given. He was also friendly and professional and obviously knowledgable about his profession. My husband went down to watch the scoping of our pipes and unfortunately for us our pipes are riddled with roots all through our front yard. Our home is older and has clay pipes verses what is used now. So at every joint/hinge there are lots of roots. They were able to see a thin line where stuff is allowed to go through right now the rest is just a bunch of roots. We had to schedule a 3rd visit for them to come and dig up our yard and install the new piping, which includes all the new fancy stuff they put on new houses these days including a spot for them to be able to access the pipes from the outside in the yard and not have to come into the home. The work is covered for 10 years they said and if we have any issues in next 10 years to call them and they will come back out for free. My husband and I were both highly impressed with the work and level of professionalism of this company. Would highly recommend if you have plubming needs.

Dennis definitely tried his best and was super nice and gave us a great deal on pricing and was upfront about the whole process. But Shane had experience and knew how to get it unclogged. Shane was super polite, talked with my husband on the phone who was out town and really just was such a helpful young man. 10/10 would recommend.

Avoid this company at all costs and find a trusted local plumber instead…read more I have roots in my drain, so every year I have to get them cleaned out. I've used Elite once before, and I decided to use them again. But this last time when they showed up, I scheduled what should have been a simple $79 annual pipe cleaning. Instead, it immediately turned into a hard-sell pitch for an $8,500 trench-digging and pipe replacement -- a major job that might be needed someday, but certainly not urgently like they claimed. (Mind you, they didn't even guarantee that this would fix all my problems. They said there might need to be more jobs that get done after this $8,500 job. ) They used sales tactics to try to scar me and make me think that I would only be getting this price for one day. I declined MULTIPLE TIMES because I wanted a second opinion, and I'm very glad I did. ALSO - Despite paying the $79, they didn't even clear the roots from the drain -- they just told me it was "too overrun" and then pushed the upsell anyway. After that, I received phone calls from them twice a day for a week trying to get me to schedule the expensive work. And Elite kept calling me. Trying to see what they could do to "earn my business". Eventually I got into a long discussion with one of their salesmen, and long story short, they talked me into considering them for a hydrojetting job. - Which would clear my roots, and they could then decide how bad my pipes were and what kind of further service I would need. Which they quoted me $1,600 for. Eventually, I had another trusted local plumber take a look. And they confirmed I had roots and a few other minor problems. But the roots were definitely the biggest problem that are causing my backups. and he also suggested hydro jetting done by his friend. So I scheduled him and he charged me a fraction of Elite Rooters 1,600 dollar price tag. I was blown away by how simple the hydrojetting process was, because by that price point, Elite told me I thought it was such a complex process. Bottom line: This company uses high-pressure tactics, inflated pricing, and artificially urgent sales pitches. Don't be fooled by the $79 "special." Hire a reputable local plumber -- you'll save money and avoid the corporate upsell games.

Plumber to Avoid: Elite Rooter Plumbers…read more Do not every hire this company!!! Ever! Seriously hire any other company. Please read below before you think about calling them for assistance I had a sink clog so it wasn't draining at all. The guy came within 1-2 hours of calling. First thing he did was try to sell me a $1200 pipe cleaning. I said, I don't need pipe cleaning, I just need the clog resolved. I then agreed to pay ~$250 to clear the clog. He worked for 15-20 minutes and said he was unable to remove clog with snake and he needed to use the water spray to resolve the clog. This was the $1200 service. I had already been dealing with the clog all day and just wanted it done so I agreed. He worked for maybe another 45 minutes and declared the clog was resolved. Then he demanded a 5-star google rating. I said well I guess you fixed it so sure. He did not put the drain back together and left. I was happy to have the sink to use for preparing dinner. I put the drain back together. It was just as clogged as when the guy got there. I called him. He returned and said he didn't know how to resolve clog but his boss would contact me on Monday. This was a Saturday afternonn/evening. I was not happy about not having a kitchen sink for rest of weekend but we dealt with it. I waited until 1pm on Monday to be contacted by his boss. I was not given his number. When I had not been contacted, I called and requested a refund. Obviously, I'm not paying for not having a sink for another 2 days, let alone $1200. I found that price absurd and you should too!! For all I know the guy did nothing since the drain was still clogged. I hired another company (Mile High Drain) who sent out two guys and resolved the issue within 45 minute. The put the drain back together and we have had no problem since. I paid them $175 plus a $30 tip for each guy. I assumed that the Elite Rooters had refunded me. 6 weeks later I was going through credit card charges and realized that that charge had not been reversed. I assumed it had been a mistake and called to remind them to refund me. I waited another week, still no refund. I have called at least 6 times, trying to be nice, to request the refund. They currently claim that their customer service cannot refund the charge and that a "manager" has the power to do it. They state they have told the manager to contact me and so far he has not. On my account they say the refund was denied because "the work was completed". I have told them I just want a refund. I don't want to hurt their business but I cannot in good conscience not make this public, whether I ever get refund or not. This is the worst customer service experience I can recall. Please, please please there are many great plumbing business in the greater Denver area who you can hire who will treat you great. This business is not one of them.

If you're looking for an HVAC company, this is the one to use!!…read more I bought my home in 2021 and have worked with several different HVAC companies over the years. Most would poke around, suggest another random repair, and leave without ever looking at the bigger picture. It wasn't until Fort Collins Heating & Air came out that someone evaluated my entire system. my unit, ductwork, vents, return air, and everything in between. They didn't just fix symptoms; they worked to find the root of the problem. From my technician, Rob, to comfort advisor Derek, and Jim in the office, I truly had a team rallying around me. They took the time to explain my options, answer my endless questions, and come up with the best solution for my home. As a single homeowner, the decisions and costs felt overwhelming. They never pressured me. Instead, they educated me, carefully assessed my home's needs, and helped me choose the right system with confidence. If you need HVAC help, don't waste your time calling around. This is your one-stop shop. I can't recommend Fort Collins Heating & Air enough!

Hunter from Fort Collins Heating & Air Conditioning earned my trust today. My air conditioning…read moresystem suddenly stopped cooling, I scheduled appointments with two HVAC companies. As a homeowner without a technical HVAC background, I wanted more than one professional opinion before making any major repair or replacement decisions. Hunter took the time to thoroughly evaluate the system and explain what he was seeing and why. He found that the capacitor had failed, which prevented the outdoor fan from operating properly. He explained that because the fan wasn't running, the compressor had overheated and temporarily shut itself down. After addressing the capacitor issue and allowing the compressor to cool, he re-tested the system and verified that it was operating correctly. What impressed me most was that Hunter didn't just tell me the system was working--he showed me the measurements and explained them in plain language. He walked me through the refrigerant readings, explained what R22 is, and showed that my system was producing a 21-degree temperature difference between the return and supply air, which is exactly where it should be. As someone who doesn't speak "HVAC," I greatly appreciated having the numbers explained in a way I could understand. I also appreciated that Hunter was honest about the age of my equipment. He recommended budgeting for a future replacement because the system is older, but he was equally clear that I did not need to replace it today and that he did not see an immediate safety concern. He never pressured me into purchasing a new system and answered every question patiently and professionally. In the end, he restored cooling to my home and gave me confidence in the diagnosis by taking the time to educate me throughout the process. His honesty, technical knowledge, professionalism, and willingness to explain everything clearly made a stressful situation much easier to navigate. If you're looking for a technician who will thoroughly evaluate the problem, explain things in terms a homeowner can understand, and provide recommendations without pressure, I highly recommend Hunter and Fort Collins Heating & Air Conditioning.
