I was able to get in last minute, but my pedicure was horrible. My toenails are rough. There's polish along the edges, the whole nail isn't painted, I was in and out of there in 35 minutes and that includes taking off gel polish. I get so excited to get a pedicure because I don't get them but probably three to four times a year and I was very disappointed. Also more expensive than up north. Walking in I was not greeted, after standing there for a few minutes looking lost the guy at the station closet to the door says station 5. I head to that station and a woman walks out of the back and rolled her eyes at me. She threw the color chart at me and said pick a color. Those were the only three words she spoke to me that whole time. The manicure experience itself was fine, and fine at best. However 1 day later gel nails already started to chip. Now I'm on day 5 and there is basically nothing left on my nail. I was having a rough day so I went to pamper myself. Left and cried in my car because of the general atmosphere of this establishment. This nail salon is extremely expensive for very bad quality nails, the customer service is not very good either and they refused to do what I wanted. Will not go back! First time ever that was in there and it was at 10:20 this morning at 10:20 am for a Gel Powder Dip. Worse experience ever-I told the woman doing my nails to be careful as i had cracked one of my nails and the gel powder dip had stated to lift off that nail ( it was very tender) well she did not seem to care as she was not gentle at all. She had absolutely no conversation with me and the entire time I was there her and the other 2 girls talked amongst themselves in their language. When it came time to put the top coat on she used a regular polish top coat and not the gel one where you have to put your nails into the light. I am betting that the top coat starts to peel off. First and last time i will step foot into their establishment. HORRIBLE!!! read more

I love star nails! I have been to many places and I travel to star nails! The nails stay on and dont just pop off right away for me when I go here. My hands are always in water and soap do to my grooming career. I have hit then with the dremel as well and they still look great! I always get complaints on my nails and they way they do coffin nails is perfect they are not square like most places. Nails are always so beautiful!!! read more

this place is ABSOLUTELY AWFUL. When you walk in its almost like you're part of an assembly line. No one gives a crap that you're there all they want is your money in the end. The woman who did my half assed pedicure didn't even scrub my feet like she was supposed to (oh and you can forget about a nice hot towel on your legs, they don't have those) she filed my pinky toe straight through the skin and I can now barely walk on my right foot without having pain. Moving on to my manicure, she drilled my natural nails so much you can see the nail bed through my acrylics and clear coat. She burned me with the drill SEVERAL times and cut my skin that I almost didn't even want her to finish. My girlfriend who got her nails done as well came up to me with bleeding fingers because the lady got her skin so many times with the drill. AND she stopped in the middle of our manicures to make us pay. I've never been so OUTRAGED in my entire life. I will NEVER go back here again. Worst manicure ever! It started out with me having to remove my own nail polish. To soak my hands they use a kitchen bowl. Half of my nails are square the other half, round. The polish on every nail is either bubbled or Rippled. And to top it all off, at the end she put lotion on my hands and told me to rub it in myself. I have never seen such a lack of service. Reasonable prices(35 dollars for full gel set) , but bad customer service and terrible work. My sister and I walked in at 2pm said we both wanted full set gel nails. They seated us right away and clipped our nails then we waited for 45 minutes for them to do the next step. My sister and I had to keep changing seats because the same lady did both of our nails. It took 2hrs!! Our nails were in pain from being filed too long and down to the skin. She also filed into our cuticles and they were bleeding in numerous spots and they never once apoligzed to us.
