I like to just think and relax when I go to the salon. Brian was really fast though and my nails look great! I'm going to leave a separate review for the eyebrow waxing bc it was horrendous. I specifically asked the woman before she started just to clean them up, I said I don't need shaping or for you to make them even (they were slightly uneven bc I was growing them out) she said okay. As I was laying there when she was doing the plucking part I could feel her plucking clusters of 3-4 hairs at a time and I knew I didn't need that bc they were already shaped, I just had stray hairs above and below my eyebrow. When she was done she handed me a mirror, they were uneven and I complained. Nicely of course, I told her I asked her not to shake and she said "No it's fine, they betta now. Even" I was very upset and I spoke to the manager bc she also waxed off half of my cousins eyebrow right after me and the manager justified her actions. I will be back for nails but NEVER AGAIN will I let anyone there wax my eyebrows!

I've been going to this nail salon for awhile now. It's a small place with a warm vibe and…read morefriendly staff. However, I've run into a recurring issue with my current nail technician, Mia. She spends nearly an hour meticulously applying powder, shaping, buffing, and adding lacquer, but refuses to let my nails cure under the light lamp for more than 60 seconds. As a result, the lacquer starts peeling within a day or two. The ONLY time this doesn't happen is when Mia gets distracted, and I sneak extra time under the lamp--then the lacquer lasts 2-3 weeks! This issue persists whether she uses my own lacquer or the salon's. I typically get one layer, but last time, Mia insisted the peeling was due to using just one layer. So, I let her apply two layers, which made things worse. The thicker coating needed even more curing time, but she still limited it to 60 seconds, pulling the lamp away and saying, "That's enough." By the time I got home, the lacquer was already peeling! The acrylic base holds up for up to 3 weeks, but it's pointless if the lacquer doesn't last 3 days! I've had enough - - it's time to find a new salon! Friends have shared some great recommendations. Attached are photos from day 3.
