I don't usually go out of my way to write a bad review, but this place was exceptionally bad. I went with my sister, and she got in right away. Due to appointments that must have been scheduled before, there were at least two people who got in before me, which made my sister have to wait at least an hour and a half after she was done. That's no big deal, it happens. When I finally sat down, the man (who was acting as manager apparently) couldn't even focus. He would file my nails, then check the list to make sure everyone was in order- and even then it was confusing and they made some lady who had already started get up and sit in the waiting chair because they made mis-scheduled. I was about to stand up and walk away. After waiting one and a half hours he couldn't even focus. Finally he asked me what I wanted, and when I told him blue with black tips he rolled his eyes and told me it would look dumb. I got it anyway. (He admitted at the end it looked awesome) he wouldn't talk to me, only my sister (what's up with that?) little did he know I was the one paying (and tipping). He did the black French tips and refused to fix a little nic in them because he couldn't see it. When it came time to pay I asked for change back because I wasn't going to give him a $20 for a $60 job that wasn't even good. He just stared at me and slowly have back the money (left a $10 tip) and he rolled his eyes, turned his back and went away. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Not worth your time or money. It's also dirty. One lady in there is nice. Everyone else seemed to have an attitude with everyone and the atmosphere sucked. read more

Terrible service. I don't usually go here but due to a snow storm my regular salon was closed for the day and I was in dire need. My last shellac job had peeled off so I had cut them short as they were very thin. The lady that did them kept rolling her eyes at me and making snippy comments about my nails being short. She also did a horrible job! Shellac all over my cuticles. I literally had to come home and fox the edges myself. Also bubbles and lint in the polish. Plus, they charged $30 for what I could have had done better at Regal Nails for $20. I will never go here again. I should have waited a day and gone to Walmart. read more

I am so disappointed with this service and was REALLY looking forward to getting a regular mani and pedi. There was a huge language barrier between me and the male technician. He ended up showing me different things, trying to upsell. I had no idea what he was saying and no one would explain to me what he meant..until the lady beside me had to explain it to them. They ended up using a gel in the water which I thought it was just a going to be a scent. I ended up paying $40 instead of the special of $30. I will not go here again. I should have gone to Wal-Mart in Ellsworth. They are honest and much more pleasant. read more

I had a shellac mani/pedi 2 days ago and it's already chipping. Worst mani/pedi I have ever received. For $75, I expect to get a solid 2 weeks. The gentleman also was so rough in taking off my old shellac he tore a big piece of my big toe nail and had to glue it back together. Not worth your time! read more

Went in for a French acrylic fill, and left extremely disappointed. The man cut three of my fingers to the point where they bleed. The white part of my French are all uneven and crooked lines and are all different sizes. Also specifically asked that the gap where my new nail grew and the white was, be filled and he left many gaps there. Would not go again. read more

I hate even giving one star... I took my daughter here to have her nails soaked off in preparation for an up coming surgery and the woman started ripping her nails off! By the time I realized what she was doing she was already 7 nails in and I asked why she wasn't doing a soak off ( which by the way was what I wrote down as service wanted and told them aloud at least 3 times before) and the woman told me that a soak off takes too long. It takes an hour. I was livid! Here is my 16 year old daughter, first time having her nails done... Now bleeding from the barbaric treatment. I will never go here agin nor refer anyone to them. Instead, I will spread the word of this horrible nail salon. read more

My parents came here while on vacation from California in September. My mom had a pedicure and was cut 3 times by the guy and they had to use quick stop to get her toe to stop bleeding. BAD news she got massive infection ended up in the hospital for 7 days and Tuesday (10/25) had her toe amputated. NOT FREAKING KIDDING!!!!!! PLEASE STAY AWAY WE ARE GOING AFTER THIS GUY TOO. read more

It's a friendly environment, but when your girls can't do a proper and opaque French tip we have a problem. I'd have gone back in to make them fix it if the wait wasn't an hour long because somehow this place manages to get a steady stream of business despite obviously not caring about how the nails are done. My technician even messed up, wiped off the shellac and got white streaks on one of my nails. I am certainly not coming here again. read more

Do not go to this salon. My daughter and I went there the other day, she to get a manicure and a I wanted a pedicure. My daughter is a big nail biter and has had some success getting her nails done to stop the the habit. She asked the "eye rolling woman" in previous comments if she could do her nails. Manicure, not full set of nails. Previously the full set of nails were peeled off with much pain and discomfort. She declined. She was told that her cuticles were too much. I sort of thought this was what they did. Trim the cuticles and do the best job they could. No...full set was all they could do for her. She reluctantly agreed. She was embarassed by comments made by the woman with the "eye rolling woman" who was obviously disgusted. The "eye rolling woman" made a complete spectacle of her with every patron in the salon. Meanwhile 25 minutes prior to this, I was having my pedicure done. I was watching this take place and was having a hard time following the whole thing. My pedicure is taking FOREVER!!! About 45 minutes later, the ERL is asking why my daugher signed up for a manicure?????? She told her she could not have a manicure, but needed a full set. HUH? She took the clipboard where everyone signs up and pointed at it in front of the patrons of the salon and chastised her for it!!! WOW. By now ERL (she knows who she is, she is unforgettable) language barrier or not..........Then, nice lady comes up to get a manicure (or whatever she may get?) and is told it is 30 minutes. My daughter nicely says to ERLthat she is not going tto have anything done after all. She doesn't listen, nor give the instruction to the nice new lady that she can get in sooner and let's her walk away. Almost over....I pay with debit card, ERL runs the card, no tip section, I ask if I can leave a tip on it....guess what. no..cash only. I don't have cash. My humiliatted daughter gracefully gives me a tip for the lady..Never going back. read more

My first experience here was great. They were busy but I didn't have to wait very long at all. I got a full set of gel french tips and they came out great. Two weeks later (Today) I went for a fill and they were again very busy. However, this time I was told to write my name down and to come back in 20 minutes. Checked back in 30 minutes and they were still busy. So I left and came back in another 15 minutes and told them I did not have time anymore and tried to make an appointment for later. (Mind you, I came to the mall ONLY to get my nails filled.) They told me it would only be a couple more minutes so I sat down. There was another woman who was waiting before me so they started on her first. Fair enough, but the nail tech asked me to move and there was no where I could sit so I stood there for 10-15 more minutes, being told multiple times that it would be "just a few more minutes." Finally, I walked out, and none of the employees tried to stop me or apologize for the over an hour wait there was, or try to make an appointment for later like I had requested after waiting a while.. I would've been fine coming back in an hour if they had just told me up front. Not impressed. read more

If I didn't have to choose a star I wouldn't have gave it any stars. First things first the man who goes by the name Tom is very arrogant. Several times I've went inside this place with having my nails done somewhere else and he will talk crap about how poorly they were made and how ugly they were and he would do an even worse job. He talks very high of himself for what? I got shellac nails and they chip so fast and break off so easily it's so bad. I use to leave him tips until I notice that it's a constant thing to talk about my nails when I would get them done somewhere else. One time he asked me to pay him before painting my nails and it was 40 dollars in total, I had given him a 50 dollar bill and he puts 5 dollars back on the table.... He just tipped himself with my money! I couldn't believe it. I let that one slide. Another time he asked for 30 dollars and I gave him the exact amount. One 20 dollar bill, one 5 dollar bill and five singles he looked at it no like for more than 10 seconds. Like cmon out of all the years he's been working there he couldn't tell what 30 bucks was? And I could tell he was upset that I didn't put the tip in there. Oh well it's over priced for cheap nails that crack less than a week! DO NOT GO HERE. Ever since I haven't given him a tip I went to the nail salon for a refill and he told me to come back tomorrow it was too busy.. It was only 1 o clock!!! I repeat spend your money else where.
