They told me she wasn't available ( not really their fault they thought I have seen someone else yesterday) so I just booked with who ever was available. I have never stopped mid massage before but it was causing so much pain. She was on top of me for at least 15 mins and I just figured once that part was over it would probably start to feel good. It did not, my skin was numb from her excessive rubbing extremely fast. It almost felt like my eight-year-old was giving me the massage. I was starting to get lightheaded and thought I might throw up. I felt so bad telling her to stop, but I'm in so much pain that I couldn't risk feeling even worse than I already do. I planned on paying full price and tipping her as if the 90 minute massage had actually happened. The guy at the front desk was great. He refused to let me pay them. I did however tip her for 25 ish mins. They then let me know that Sonia was in fact available and there and free at the moment and she then did the Massage. She is amazing. I wasn't comfortable with a male masseuse especially because they only cover us with a thin sheet. They did provide a female masseuse afterall thankfully. My second time coming, I got a female masseuse. For some unknown reason, the male worker opened each room, including the room I'm in. He should knock first. I wish there was more sensitivity to privacy. Both times, the massages were great, the facility is clean, and the staff are friendly. Very firm and exactly where I needed the massages. That's the reason why I keep returning here.

Mia made the experience really comfortable and checked in during the session, especially when placing the hot towel, which I really appreciated. After verifying, she calls me out in front of the other 4 people in the waiting room for tipping too little. I asked if it was a problem and she said "no" and walked away. She was lucky I tipped at all! Tipping is based off of how much you enjoyed the service, hospitality, and the overall experience. I didn't need to tip but I still did anyway! Calling someone out for not tipping enough is not professional. The only reason I'm giving this place 2 stars instead of 1 is because my husband didn't mind his massage. The sole purpose of him booking it was because he wanted the deep tissue massage so the depth/pain was something he was requesting. And he said the guy would check up on him every once in a while and ask if he's okay or if the depth was okay (I didn't get that). We've been to plenty massage bars before and have never had issues. Since we come so often, those stamps added up quickly! I recently had my complimentary facial with Pam, and I was honestly so impressed. It didn't feel like a "free" service or a quick little add-on at all -- it still felt luxurious, thoughtful, and like a full experience. Nobody asked us, nobody told us, and nobody explained what was happening. We had specifically requested female therapists, so having Justin's therapist changed to a man without our knowledge or consent was incredibly uncomfortable. We were not given an explanation when we questioned it. I eventually became so upset that I got dressed and walked out. A manager came in, but we still did not receive a reasonable explanation for why this happened. This was supposed to be a relaxing birthday experience for my fiancé, and instead we left feeling uncomfortable, confused, and extremely disappointed. Staffing issues happen, but you communicate with your customers and ask before making a significant change to the service they specifically requested.
