The Pros = the manager Luigi is awesome. He walked me up to the room himself to show me all the amenities. The staff is nice and hard working. It's not a regular motel where they just mop the bathroom floors. They are down on knees and scrub the marble bathroom floors. The bathroom is so clean, it's spotless. Impressive, like a 5 star hotel bathroom. It's a 10 minute walk to Hammersmith subway station, which connects to 3 lines. It is a good midway between Heathrow Airport and Soho touristy areas like Picadilly Circus . The neighborhood appears to be middle to upper middle class. Lots of eating cafes, 15 minutes walk to major mall, dry cleaners across the street. Also, USB plug next to your bed for recharging. It's a very good cheap price for high middle class quality stay, like a remodeled Motel 6 in America.
Cons = You will hear traffic noise as you are on a major street in Hammersmith. Are we near a hospital? So many ambulances? I am a Navy Veteran who lived on an aircraft carrier, noise don't bother me. Everyday here, I am exhausted from touristing so I can sleep thru anything. You tourists will sleep thru anything too. Being a tourist is exhausting. Strong point, if you are from a cold place like me, then I do not recommend a mid summer visit. Lucky for me, I am here in the autumn. There is no air conditioning, but yes heater for winter. They give you a small fan which I put by the window to blow in air. London is more humid than where I live. The shower pressure in my room is weaker than USA, but they do give you a shower handle to reach those private parts. Overall, I am very lucky to have randomly found this place. Check in is from 130pm onwards. read more
