To get the information into these accounts now requires a download from the IMCU site then an upload into those apps. This is the twenty first century, not the 19th century. What's next green eyeshades and quill pens. Reluctantly, despite the hassle, I guess I will have to move my accounts to a more customer friendly financial entity. Sigh, they had a good thing going.

I had the privilege of having Danielle Gaston set up the paperwork for my new account. She was kind and courteous and even allowed me to joke and banter with her. Scott Hammersley, their business/commercial lending specialist, came out and introduced himself and spent time learning about our new business coming to the Westfield area. Later when I was having trouble getting online banking and the mobile app setup, one of the bank's team took my call, walked me through it, and stayed on the phone with me till setup was confirmed. I never felt rushed or hurried, there was a calm, steady tone and constant reminders that I was their priority and they wanted me to be set up and able to use all the resources the bank had for me. Refused to shred some old statements and then rudely told me I was out of line for even asking. This branch has two drive through lanes but only open one even though there are often 5-6 cars lined up. I've banked with PNC for twenty-five years plus. I was with Midwest Bank and then NCB prior to PNC acquiring them. The PNC branch at Merchants Plaza has been nothing but NO. Classic big bank service and attitude. I used to do business at the branch at 21 N. Rangeline Road in Carmel before it closed. Completely different experience at the Carmel Central branch. Friendly, helpful tellers and managers. I asked to have some old paper statements shredded at Merchants Square. I used to take old statements to the Central branch and they gladly obliged. Both Merchants Square tellers got an attitude and said NO (one even got lippy), then a big guy who was some sort of self-important manager said too bad so sad. Something about legality. BS.
