This Broad Ripple branch has very poor service. I have complained about a specific, persistent…read moreproblem, among many others, at this location - their representatives at their customer service number are working in Southeast Asian countries. It has happened almost every time I've spoken with a call center person, over many years.... I'm an amateur linguist and am good with accents. I engage them in conversation and find out where they are calling from. Huntington Bank should not be giving out our private information to people on the other side of the world. Think of how many places our information has to go through before it ever gets to a call center there: probably many. Those call center workers may not even have a security clearance. They have access to our names, address, phone number, bank account information, etc. 2 tellers, 1 supposedly a manager, adamantly denied this and another "manager" also denied it. I was told I'd wait only about 5 min. to talk with her, then she told me it'd be another 20 min., at least. When she finally spoke with me, she was very passive-aggressive and rude with me. I don't think she even understood I was against the sending our information to the other side of the world; I think she thought I was racist, which I'm not. I called the customer service while walking to my car and once again, got someone working in the Philippines. I went back in the bank and told the teller that I had a person on the phone in the Philippines, and the tellers and manager refused to talk with the person on the phone, therefore passively avoiding the issue. Classic. The manager continued to be passive aggressive and rude. She had no understanding of "customer service." Why didn't she say, 'I'm sorry, I didn't know that. Let me call head office and pass your comment along" or something similar? She also wouldn't give me the phone number for their corporate office (not Customer Service.) She and the other employees insisted their corporate office # that they call for staff issues is the same # as the Customer Service #. If that were true, then they would have been glad to talk with a representative. But they refused to. Talk about avoidance and failure to be transparent with their customers! I drive out of my way just not to go to that location because of their poor service.

It seems that one of the requirements of marriage is to give and take so here I am as a new Forum Credit Union customer. This location is directly on Monument Circle with two ATMs at the entrance and three tellers inside. It's on the small and outdated side with drop ceilings and dark lighting. With its location on the Circle, parking can be trickier certain times of day. The staff has been friendly during my two experiences over the last month. I imagine this location would be much more convenient if you already work downtown and could walk over.

When this branch first opened, I tried to avoid it, even though I was working downtown. The main…read morereason was where it was located. On Monument Circle with it's terrible parking situation. Not a great location if you were driving. It also was not a full service branch. All of the service was done via ATM. Deposit, withdrawal, etc, with a person to help you out, but not a teller who could help you with a transaction. Apparently, Forum got the message on the lack of customer service there, because it is now a full service branch, complete with Forum's stellar customer service reps. It helps that the branch is very nicely laid out too. Now, I find this branch convenient when I am downtown for other events and have already parked. Why? Because it is in a nice central location: Monument Circle! And ironically, the last time I went here. it was just to use the ATM. HA!

Every time I stop here there is an unpleasant experience. My first thought told me to stop at forum instead but unfortunately this place is seconds from my home. I sent cash along with my ID the clerk verify which account I wanted it deposit it in and he disappear. 10 minutes later I hit the button to call tell her there was no response I waited another 3 minutes hit the button to call tell her no response. I waited a few more minutes and I hit the call teller button at least five times in a row. A different clerk emerged asking how she could help me and I asked her if she would send my identification card as I had already use the app to verify that the money was deposited 10 minutes prior. She disappeared from the screen and she sent out my ID card with no receipt. I hit the call clerk button again there was never a response again. I went ahead and left because I could verify through my app that the money was deposited and there was a line forming behind me. I left that drive-through at 11:01 a.m. and if I could give zero Stars I would

They treat customers like they are an inconvenience to their business instead of the REASON for their business. Refused to shred some old statements and then rudely told me I was out of line for even asking. This branch has two drive through lanes but only open one even though there are often 5-6 cars lined up. I've banked with PNC for twenty-five years plus. I was with Midwest Bank and then NCB prior to PNC acquiring them. The PNC branch at Merchants Plaza has been nothing but NO. Classic big bank service and attitude. I used to do business at the branch at 21 N. Rangeline Road in Carmel before it closed. Completely different experience at the Carmel Central branch. Friendly, helpful tellers and managers. I asked to have some old paper statements shredded at Merchants Square. I used to take old statements to the Central branch and they gladly obliged. Both Merchants Square tellers got an attitude and said NO (one even got lippy), then a big guy who was some sort of self-important manager said too bad so sad. Something about legality. BS. Typical BIG bank attitude, just like on the radio commercials. Earlier this year I took some papers I needed notarized to Merchants Square. They said NO. Some lame excuse about legality again. You'll be sorry if you do business with PNC Merchants Square in Carmel.

The IMCU on IUPUI's campus and downtown have been our go-tos. Since we live in downtown Indy coming up north is rare. Since I was already up north I had to stop in at this location. Last year I had an awful experience with one of the associates. The issue was escalated to the general manager and resolved. The associate who the situation was involving was actually not a consistent employee of this branch, he was filling in. I actually threatened to switch banks when another associate from my normal location came to the rescue. His service saved the whole situation. So because of that, this location left a bad taste in my mouth. However, today's experience was good. Nothing over the top excellent yet, I didn't have a bad experience either. I used the drive thru and the employee working helps me withdrawal money. She was friendly and knowledgable. There was no one in line so my service was quick. I also noticed a security officer outside, which would make any customer feel safe at a bank.
