I discovered Community First Bank of Indiana (CFBI) through their community business development representative, Bonnie Riley. I had the privilege of having Danielle Gaston set up the paperwork for my new account. She was kind and courteous and even allowed me to joke and banter with her. Scott Hammersley, their business/commercial lending specialist, came out and introduced himself and spent time learning about our new business coming to the Westfield area. Later when I was having trouble getting online banking and the mobile app setup, one of the bank's team took my call, walked me through it, and stayed on the phone with me till setup was confirmed. I never felt rushed or hurried, there was a calm, steady tone and constant reminders that I was their priority and they wanted me to be set up and able to use all the resources the bank had for me. I'm grateful for my time at CFBI, and I'm very impressed with the service and resources they have available. I love their approachable and dedicated commitment to our local community.

The manager at the Allisonville Branch should be ashamed of herself and how she so readily dismissed me. I will never do business there. I took my grandson to this Chase Bank to cash some savings bonds that I had purchased for him years…read moreago. We screwed up and had thought we had an appointment but as it turned out we were at the wrong bank. But the bank teller (Jean) was son nice. Even though they were short handed she took the time to sort through all of the bonds (there were a bunch of them) and cashed them out for us. This is the third time that I met may grandsons at this bank and each time the tellers were so thoughtful and accommodating. Their excellent customer service is much appreciated.

The ONLY redeeming things is the number of locations they have, and a full-featured online bill pay program. Otherwise, at this location, expect to hit a giant pothole that's been there for 2 years when you pull in. Expect average service for tellers. If there is any banking experience that will make you think our financial institution deserve more regulation, this will be it. The only reason I'd fathom they care about me is because they can use my balance as collateral to borrow against so they can go out and gamble in the market. I'm sure we will be bailing them out during the next recession. Their service for the average consumer will make you hope they go bankrupt. When you call customer service---for anything---expect to be routed to the Philippines, with standard grade call center personnel reading their rehearsed BS. Expect better interest rates at other banks. Expect better service at other banks (I have another checking at Huntington). If you enjoy the quality of service you get with AT&T or Comcast them this is the place for you. Oh, and to email about the pothole? No customer feedback email contact info on their website. Clearly, they don't care about their customers.
