I'm originally from Michigan. Chase, and whatever its previous names were, has been my bank for too long. The ONLY redeeming things is the number of locations they have, and a full-featured online bill pay program.
Otherwise, at this location, expect to hit a giant pothole that's been there for 2 years when you pull in. Expect average service for tellers. If there is any banking experience that will make you think our financial institution deserve more regulation, this will be it. The only reason I'd fathom they care about me is because they can use my balance as collateral to borrow against so they can go out and gamble in the market. I'm sure we will be bailing them out during the next recession. Their service for the average consumer will make you hope they go bankrupt.
When you call customer service---for anything---expect to be routed to the Philippines, with standard grade call center personnel reading their rehearsed BS.
Expect better interest rates at other banks. Expect better service at other banks (I have another checking at Huntington). If you enjoy the quality of service you get with AT&T or Comcast them this is the place for you. Oh, and to email about the pothole? No customer feedback email contact info on their website. Clearly, they don't care about their customers. read more
