The long wait speaks volumes. I left with one of the best haircuts ever. Five stars to all three barbers. When you wait for over two hours, you get to see everyone's finished product. They all looked great. If it were possible, I would commute to Blacksburg for future haircuts.

I was new to the area and arrived a several minutes late to my first ever appt due to trouble navigating the area, only to be met with his stank attitude and him berating me. There was not a single person in the shop so I was not holding anyone up. Instead of handling the situation like a professional, he starts talking to me with attitude like I'm 12 years old. I'm a grown man (I did 10 years in the US Army). There is never an excuse to treat a potential paying customer with such disrespect. You don't talk down to people, no matter the situation especially as a business owner. I'm honestly shocked that a barber would engage in this kind of behavior. Many reviews of the shop were good. Absolutely avoid this establishment as there are so many other barbers you could go to. Why take a chance on someone who has an attitude?

Specializing in classic grooming services, Jacks offers expertly crafted manicure and pedicure services, among others, in a welcoming. friendly, and relaxing environment. After being awarded the Triad Yelper of the Year 2024 Award at the Yelpies Award Ceremony last year, an event that honored the highest-performing Yelp Elites, I decided that it would be appropriate this year to go back to this restaurant and write a follow-up review, since my initial review was one of my reviews that contributed to me obtaining this highly esteemed Award. Today, after having made an appointment for 2:00pm, I revisited Jacks, and since my birthday is slowly approaching, I decided to treat myself to what they call in Jacks: "The Flush Signature Package. This package included a Classic Cut, with a deep cleansing shampoo, scalp and neck massage, precision haircut and style and aroma therapy hot towels. This was followed by the Executive Hand Detail which included a deluxe manicure that also included an exfoliating scrub and a warm paraffin wax dip. And last but not least, I received the Foot Treatment. Here my nails were trimmed, I had the removal of dead skin and I received a foot massage that promoted good circulation! During all this process I was treated like royalty. When I arrived they offered me a non-alcoholic drink. I had an iced Coca-Cola, comfortably seated and waiting to be called. When my stylist was ready, she came down to get me. Then we went to the second floor. I chose to go using the elevator rather than the long stairs. Once there I received the treatment previously described. Then my Manicurist / Pedicure continued doing the other things mention after once again offering me another non-alcoholic drink. What an amazing experience. When I was finished may hands and my legs felt so good from all the massages and treatments received. If you have an opportunity of going there I would highly recommend you do. You will feel like new again. Having these treatments done really does make a difference. I'm so glad I found this place.
