Gray's Coors originated the delicacy years ago, but some of us prefer the green chile at Sunset Inn. If you like a thicker stew-style green chile, you will prefer Gray's for sloppers. Sunset Inn has a huge menu including very tasty mexican dishes. I recommend the tacos on white. I've never met a person who doesn't absolutely dig T's on W. It's a soft flour tortilla deep fried into crisp crumbly pastry-like texture. They have COLD SCHOONERS - a Pueblo requirement. Big space full of tables and a couple of pool tables. The Corned Beef was slathered with a Mustard Crème sauce that should have been served on the side. Some may like it, others will hate it. I didn't care for it. Cabbage seemed to be braised in a heavy Cayenne Pepper broth. It was inedible. The Champs were so bland that you had to shake the hell put of the Salt and Pepper. The Corned Beef without the Mustard sauce was actually pretty good, but so much was slathered with the mustard sauce that it just isn't worth ordering. Bottom line, here is how it breaks down: Service: 5/5. The bartender tonight was exceptional! Food: 3/5 at best due to the second entree ordered (fish & chips) being REALLY GOOD. Overall: 4-5*. The Fish & Chips saved this entire meal. There are a number of things to order from the menu at the bar. Obviously I would stay away from the CB, but I would definitely recommend the fish and chips! Definitely a place for locals, the kind of place I'd be seen at if I lived in Pueblo. Pool table, spacious room to the side. Not quite a dive, but not a fancy bar. It's a roadhouse. I love roadhouses. On to the food. I don't know if this is the best slopper in Pueblo, but it sure hit the spot. The burgers were meaty, slobbered with plentiful chili and cheese. A corner of lettuce and tomato satisfied my salad need, and they even sprinkled onions on top (I had asked if those were traditional or not... I'll take it!). The best part of all was tearing the soggy bun apart bite by glorious bite. Riverside really hit my comfort food spot as well as my down-home bar spot, and that's 5 stars for me.
