I called to have a tour done for our family a few weeks before we were coming out. I left a voicemail and received a call the next day to schedule. The man was Ryan and he was very kind and accomadating to our schedule. The only main suggestion is the tours have to be booked early in the morning since that is when the buffalos are the most active. So we came out, the location was very easy to find. We were immediately greeted as soon as we got out of the car with our family. We learned a bunch of cool things about buffalo and the tour guide Ryan was very professional the entire time. Our children were VERY intrigued and had such a great time. The tour is 1 hour long, and I was a little hesitant whether they would last but they sure did! My husband and I left feeling much more educated about buffalo and learning more about the meat itself as well. Thank you so much! It was a very calming/peaceful way to start our day watching these magnificent creatures!

Now, let's talk about the real issue here: WHERE IS THE RANCH? The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because they don't have buttermilk ranch for the fries. They offer Thousand Island, but no ranch? That's a little disappointing Other than that, I have zero complaints. I really hope they consider adding ranch to the menu. They say they don't carry ranch because they don't serve salads but ranch isn't just for salads.

They still have the same vibe and the same menu items for breakfast, lunch and dinner. They did raise the prices but still a really good value regardless. Formerly a sit-down restaurant, this is now set-up as a take-out, with few tables outside near the entrance. It is also a small market as well, with a meat counter. We walked in at around 5:00pm on a Wednesday and ordered their BBQ Beef Rib dinner and a slice of pistachio cheesecake. The employees there were really friendly and nice. We didn't get her name at the register but on our receipt it said Gabby was our server and she was sweet. We had a question regarding ordering meat for an upcoming event and Max at the meat counter was very helpful. When we got home, the meal was delicious! The meat on the ribs was juicy and tender, the baked potato was hot! It stayed warm longer than most potatoes we've had and it was good. The mixed veggies were a bit softer than I expected but was fine. It was a good meal. We went back to order 8 BBQ beef rib dinners 3 days later on Saturday, 4th of July. We called in our order 30 minutes before pick up and when we arrived, we waited a few more minutes for our order to be done. The ribs weren't consistently good. Some were good but some were tough and chewy. But the sides of coleslaw & mashed potatoes were really good. Rolls were already cold at pick-up. Overall, it's still a good place and glad they're back.

Well Today was the day I found out what the taco talk was all about. Nice little Mexican Market with a nice selection of food items. Has a nice Butcher Style Meat Counter and a decent selection of meats to choose from. They have Fresh Tortillas brought in each day hot and fresh ready in a giant Insulated Igloo Cooler. The sweet lady I met and the butcher who also cooks some tasty Street tacos I tried were very friendly and helpful. The prices were very fair with most tacos going for $2.49ea. Stuffed with tender Meats of your choosing and topped with your choice of toppings. The in house made Hot Sauces both were excellent. Put a smile on my face. I ordered two each of, The Carne Asada Tacos. The Al Pastor. Tacos. The Carnitas Tacos. And The Lengua Tacos. Wow was i surprised. I never expected to like them all but I did. I ate one of each there and took the other four home for later. 30 seconds in the microwave and they were just as good as the ones I had earlier. I'll be coming here a lot more now that I know how tasty they are. 8 Street Tacos and a Bottle of Orange Soda Wes $25.67 out the door. Very reasonable by todays standards. Sadly they only have two tables inside and none outside. Must do alone of takeout. This place is well worth a try anytime your in Ramona. Check out the menu pictures. FRESH FARM EGGS!!! (5 stars + meteor shower + starlinks)…read more Pasteurized eggs are the best quality. But pasture raised + fresh farm eggs; Hens that roam freely and forage, even better quality! Did you know... fresh farm eggs can sit on the counter (unrefrigerated) for up to 14 days IF the eggs have yet been refrigerated. And they are SO good. Obviously, refrigerate if they won't be consumed within the 14 days but once refrigerated they must stay refrigerated . When buying at the booth, they have not been refrigerated. Current price: $8 for 1 dozen. Expensive but quality and freshness is priceless. If you haven't had fresh farm eggs or don't know the difference, you need to refine that pallet of yours because you are missing out. Fresh as in unwashed!!! I've gone "country" in this beach city! Many times I have considered taking the drive to Ramona to the farms to hunt for some fresh eggs for my baked goods, breakfasts, and my fresh pasta noodle making. Especially when it comes to making my fresh pasta noodles from scratch I want the freshest eggs possible. Well, you don't need to drive to the farms. Their tent is available at some of the farmers markets around the county. If you see their tent, don't pass them up! Well worth $8. Some of the other food vendors at the farmers markets use their eggs as well. I had a "breakfast bowl" and they were frying up fresh eggs from Three Sons Farm. The taste of fresh eggs... I can't find the right words that deserve their compliments. Has a fresh and clean taste to them. The yolk doesn't have a harsh "yolks-ness" taste, it's lighter and creamier - if that makes sense?! The difference is in the yolk. I will take creamier over store bought any day. Ex: I make my own fresh pasta noodles from scratch. That alone, the noodles are already fresh and silky. With fresh eggs... "!!!!!" JABA APPROVED. Until the next review....

I love that they carry a large selection of local wines and locally made goods -- such a good spot for a meaningful gift or a Ramona souvenir. The café was also excellent; the coffee beans were from Joshua Tree Coffee, and the chocolate chip cookie was amazing. Plenty of parking, lots of options, and a fun stop overall. A great addition to any Ramona day trip.
