Our is an unusual situation. When my mother passed away we had her cremated by a local funeral home. Unfortunately, the funeral home did not put have the urn engraved and we needed it done quickly for the already scheduled burial ceremony. I found Star Awards and called, speaking to Reagan about engraving my mother's urn. He was sympathetic to our situation and willing to jump in and help with a quick turn around. This is a great spot to get ANY engraving done. They are fairly friendly, spot on accurate and done when they tell you they will be. They also didn't charge an arm & a leg. Too many stars. Put simple right. Well the issue is this i took a watch in to be engraved, when we went to get it the engraving was crooked. Noticeably crooked, the biggest issue here is my wife works in hospitals and this watch was to be on her scrubs for taking vitals. Now she can't use it because it looks horribly unprofesional. read more

The owner of this company is nasty and rude!!! We ordered a two tier trophy with red white and blue columns for $25. Seems reasonable, right? The owner also never handed us a invoice stating what we ordered, so at this point it's her word vs. ours. Anyways, a couple weeks go by and we forgot to pick up our trophies and we received a call from the owner. She rudely asked if we were, "Going to ever come pick up our trophies since they've been here for a month now!" We statedthat we forgot and that we'd be by soon to pick them up. When we walked in, the trophy was NOT what we ordered. It was a one tiered trophy with 2 columns and they were BLUE. So we asked her, "What happened to the two tiered trophy with the flag columns that you quoted us?" She then told us that she didn't know what we were talking about and that, "this is what we ordered." Overall, super unprofessional, her store looks like an old shop that nobody visits anymore, and shes rude. I will NOT be using her for awards anymore. Instead I'm going to use a trophy shop out of San Marcos. read more
