Update - it got worse. When leaving the building to go to the next part of the tour, the guide did…read morenot wait for me. I took the elevator down and they just took the group on the stairs and took off without waiting. So I had to leave. I took the issue to admissions and they had nothing to say. If you have any mobility needs don't go here. Nope! Came here for a campus visit and the guide mumbled something and then took the group off at a fast pace, to climb three (or four) flights to the lecture room. Zero access for people with disabilities. I raised with them (as it was not accessible for us) and the first question asked was "did you fill out the form for people with disabilities?" Yes we did. But that is all you got? They say in other reviews that this college is too "woke." How about not woke enough?

Filthy atmosphere- leaking ceilings, dusty carpets and frequent use of the pizzeria next door's toilet is a must due to constant issues plaguing their own. Dance should be about bonding over a passion- but don't anticipate such a thing here. It's like Dance Moms minus the talent. If you aren't a devout Christian, prepare to be ostracized by both parents as well as staff. Oh, and it should soothe you to know that the ridiculous costs you are paying for a watered down service is uneven across the board. That's right! Certain parents get certain privileges. Free or discounted privates and tuition is rampant among favorites- and if you are not one, you will be kicked out. Notice they have no advanced dancers? That is because nobody is dumb enough to stay their whole career. The good dancers seek good training- not repetitive classes from an instructor who is in and out of rehab for his crack addiction and touting his broadway career that ended ages ago. He has never taken actual dance classes himself. He learned his skills on the streets- and obviously that's where he gained his (lack of) people skills as well. Save yourself!

We were so relieved to find that Maria Montessori's mission is carried out here at Hawk Meadow. Our children transitioned seamlessly into the classrooms, as they are truly Montessori environments. The teachers, administration and staff are intelligent, caring and passionate about Montessori style learning. The small class sizes offer plenty of individualized lessons and encourage a strong relationship among students and teachers, and our children are thriving. I then watched as he made orders for other people. My customer had already paid. This happens to be an all black establishment, as was my customer. I'm white - very white. I tend to use Grub Hub to find good places to eat. After the look I got, the refusal of service and the dismissive attitude I received, what else am I to think? Will never eat here as I don't support discrimination in any form.
