He said, " he wouldn't charge me taxes, " and I replied " I have no problem paying Florida taxes " Then he said, he only would take cash & when I don't have cash, he told me to go over to Walmart customer service and use their ATM. The fee to use the ATM was about $3.50. If he had wanted cash before, he should have said that, originally. The technician told me that due to the model of my phone, they didn't have the screen in stock. I left to check with other places, but after calling around and realizing no one else had it either, I called him back and asked him to order the part. He said he would, and that it would arrive on Monday, April 14th. On Monday, I arrived at the store at 10:30 AM, but no one was there--even though the store's hours online said they opened at 10. I called, but no one answered. Later, I finally received a call back, and he told me the part hadn't arrived yet but that he would call me when it did. After hearing nothing else that day, my husband went to the store that evening. It was only then that the technician told him a deposit was required to order the part. He had spoken to me on three separate occasions and not once mentioned a deposit. My husband ended up paying a $100 deposit so the screen could be ordered. The technician made a call in front of my husband to order the part and said it would arrive the next day--Tuesday, April 15th--between 2 and 3 PM. At 2:45 PM on Tuesday, I called to check if the part had arrived as I was nearby running errands. He answered and said it hadn't come in yet, and that he'd call when it did--but added that even if it arrived that day, he had "a lot to do." By the evening of April 16th, we still hadn't received any update. My husband stopped by the store again after work, and the technician then said the part had been delivered to the wrong location, but he could have it transferred by the next day (April 17th). On April 17th, we still hadn't heard anything by 4:30 PM. My husband stopped by again, and this time the technician claimed he had the part--but after all the delays and lack of communication, we had lost all trust and simply asked for a refund. He refused to give my husband a refund. Afterward, I called the store myself. The technician was extremely disrespectful, repeatedly talked over me, and hung up when I asked to speak to a manager--claiming he would "call someone." Eventually, he did the right thing and refunded the deposit, but only after a completely unnecessary and frustrating ordeal.

I did a search and Phones Plus Computer Repair was the closest to me. I must say Enrique is the best. He's very knowledgeable and patient with me. I am suffering with Bell's Palsy and I have trouble talking because of it. There was no judgement at all. I am from NYC and there is a place in Forest Hills Queens I used to go to which is similar to Phones Plus Computer Repair. I went there for close to 10 years. In the past, Living in Florida, I used to ship my ipad or iphone to them in New York however, I had to pay for shipping sending and receiving. It was costly using UPS ground. I trusted the place in NYC. I will be a repeat customer. I felt taken care of. The store was immaculately clean and everything in it's place. I loved it. I have been to a few other place in Plant City and Brandon and the service is not as good as Phones Plus Computer Repair. They don't know what they're doing. Charged me $150 to transfer files from old hard drives onto a…read morenew one. For me to open the files, the contents of the hard drives should have been dragged onto the desktop of a Mac first then onto the new hard drive. The dragged the audio files directly onto the new hard drive and now they won't open. I went back to the store and had them drag a Pro-Tools session file onto the desktop of the Mac that they used to do the original transfer. Took the hd home and was able to open the files. So I called and told them that transferring the files that way worked. But now they don't want to re-transfer the files the correct way or refund me. Total rip off.
