My parents have been using this store for years to have their cell phone batteries replaced. They went in 2 weeks ago, and while putting in the battery, they cracked her phone screen to where it was inoperable- then add the fact that the battery they put in did not work. Due to their mistake, my elderly mother had to purchase a new cell phone due to her blood sugar machine is attached to the app that alerts her in a high or low. In order for the phone company to move all of her information over, the screen had to be replaced as you could not see anything- taking this company over a week to get the part in stock. Once the part was in they had to replace the screen and the battery even though she had to purchase a new phone - they had the audacity to charge my elderly mother for the battery for a phone that she will not use due to her having no other option but to purchase a new one in order to have her medical alerts notify her. Absolutely astonished by this. read more

Sold me a battery a couple days ago that registered "low" as soon as I put it into my thermometer. Today I took it back. The owner or manager (not sure which) told me it wasn't the battery that was low, but the temperature. He was very condescending when he said it (no, it wasn't the temperature, it was the battery that was bad). They tested the battery and it was low. They tested about 10 other batteries and they were all low. He eventually refunded my money. I quietly said that an apology would be nice and hoped he wouldn't treat other customers the same way. He practically screamed at me to "have a good day, and good bye." That is TERRIBLE behavior and terrible customer service. read more

I took some Fluorescent bulbs in to recycle. As their website says they do that. The website doesn't say that they charge for doing it. It's 20 cents per foot in case anyone wants to know. read more

Update : Received a call from the Manager Rick. The employee who helped me the previous evening let him know that the battery was in fact dead and should be covered under warranty. This place was awesome. I had to get my phone repaired after falling in the pouring rain (without a waterproof case!). I made an appointment online that night, and was pleasantly greeted the following morning. The phone tech, Ron, was fantastic. He dried off my phone internally, and checked it out. All was good -- but then it wasn't. My charging port was damaged. Ron fixed it the same day, and I was on my way. A couple weeks later, my phone was acting up again. This time, my mic wasn't working. Ron check it out, and said that some of the parts began to erode. He wiped it off, and it's been perfect since. Couldn't have been a better experience! Thanks so much Ron & Matt (GM)! read more

To update this I did talk to manager Matt but by then my bank had already refunded my money. He offered half hearted apology and didn't seem real concerned Stated I should have talked to him but I didn't know who he was (and employee didn't offer that option clerk Jim basically told me to take my battery and go then threatened me with calling police if I didn't get out of HIS store) really believe store employee should offer anything they can to help. When I told Manager Matt I would return the battery even though I didn't have to because I already told my bank I didn't he didn't seem grateful thought he would at least offer to cover my gas or give me a discount in case I ever wanted to purchase something else. Took battery back and same slothful employee Jim was rude again so no lesson learned and at least 3 customers lost. I paid my son the difference for him to buy his car battery at a different location. Wish I could return the one I bought before they tried to rip me off. read more

I had taken an iPhone 5s into another Batteries Plus location for a screen repair, and they somehow messed up the inner workings of the phone....date was 1969, contacts gone, unable to connect to our network. After multiple attempts by the other location to fix, I took the phone back and brought it to this location. The technician was SO nice, worked on it and did some research for about 1/2 hour, and got it fixed! He also honored the fact that we had taken it to another branch, so there was no charge for his time. I have found my new go-to store!!! read more
