Location is great. They have the bare necessities. Their model is to clearly push people on line. I appreciate the very few people who work there. Terrific customer service at the print shop - Brian is the best. Check out staffing (not the people, but the availability of them) and line to return Amazon packages is literally embarrassing. Don't know if it's under staffed to "manage hours" by corporate or call outs/no-shows from staff. Consistently abysmal. read more

Walked in tonight to Fax Important Docs that needed to be out tonight (12/27/23) Nope machines had Sorry Not working, one was working had two people in front. When got to person in front of me she was waiting for machine to respond and fax, stood there 25 min with one person in front of me trying send their docs. Had employees behind us at counter, they clearly didn't care machine was not working or that she might need help. Clearly they weren't going to try get other machines to work that had signs on them. Maybe they could maybe they can't but maybe come look see if help is needed. Horrible never got my docs faxed I had to leave waited waay to long lady still struggled to get hers done. Never again, been in this store before, people there just not helpful. If all machines have signs why bother be open in that section. read more

I went in today just for a box of envelopes, but I stopped by the clearance section, and boy did score some great items for under $2. But that is not my reason for leaving this review. Malinda rang my items up for me she then went above and beyond to help me get into my old staples account, it dates back to when I had a landline, so that's how old it is. Anyway, Malinda was able to help me because she didn't want me to miss out on getting the $25.00 off coupon that I earned. I went to this location this morning before work. I needed to make some copies not being sure how to make copies. I went to the service desk where the people were to ask for a little bit of help. I had three pages and I need to make 10 each but I wasn't sure on how to do that. There was a woman in front of me who looked like she was waiting. There were two people at the desk you would think they would say I'll be with you shortly but nothing after about 10 minutes I decided I've had enough I had to leave and get to work. read more

I despise going here for Amazon returns. The manager is the worst to employees. He barks orders at them in front of customers. The employees appear to be afraid to do anything and have adopted the managers demeanor. read more

I've been doing a lot of selling on Mercari and Facebook marketplace. Whether it's for UPS or post office shipments, I usually drop my packages off here. Saves time and hassle from waiting at the post office. Much shorter lines and friendlier workers. I have never had an issue here. While I'm here I usually grab supplies for work or home. Great prices and the sales team is always knowledgeable. read more

We frequent this location several times a month primarily for our shipping and printing needs. We typically have decent experiences when using the printing center however each employee and their service varies greatly. The are a convenient location for UPS drop offs. read more

Do not shop at the Watertown Connecticut Staples. They have had three store managers over the last year, and none of them treat their customers well. I had a problem with a $100 gift card that I had purchased there, and after it didn't work, found out that it was never properly loaded by the employee at the register. After months of going in, emailing and calling corporate, no one cared to help me. Go to Office Depot, Walmart, or on-line, but do not shop there if you want any sort of customer service. read more

Good store but was mad when I saw a customer today wearing her mask on her chin. I said something to the lady and she replied back with "I'm not near you." The cashier said to me "some people." I didn't want to argue, but no. The rules are everyone MUST wear a mask. So if I have to wear a shirt to enter a store, it's ok if it's just over my shoulder. Or well I have shoes but their in my hand. No! Follow the rules and the workers should have said something. Not to mention, the lady was being helped my a worker. It should have been said. This has been the first time I've been to a store with my child. Looks like I won't be back. Very disappointed! read more

My staples of choice. The design of the building screams professionalism. Carpeted like a 5 star hotel, this place brings me back to the -nobody beats the wiz- era. It is much bigger than the waterbury one and I usually find what I am looking for. The copy center and ups shipping rates are the best in town. Prices are where they should be and staff is friendly and always asks if you need assistance. If I had to go to a staples, this would be my choice. read more

Sorry to say but I am one very disappointed customer. I brought my PC in due to a Windows 10 update that froze the unit. They said we can fix. I brought my external drive for them to back up my data as well before they repaired. Turns out the drive itself was no good, so instead of calling me to advise this and offer to sell me an alternative they just went ahead with wiping out my entire hard drive. I am furious as you can imagine once I set unit back up, there were zero programs, files, photos, documents and even all my family's favorites gone. I am not a tech savvy person and now understand the power of back up, but still I should have been informed before wiping out years of data. Seriously, go elsewhere for repairs. read more

I have been to Staples in Watertown a handful of times and every visit was less than pleasant. Once was a customer cutting the line so I dont blame Staples for that. The last time was to fax some paperwork and it was my first time doing so. I asked somebody behind the desk a simple question and it was not what he said, but his attitude that could definitely be improved. I believe his name was Jeff. His answer suggested I should know the answer to something I am doing for the first time. While I was doing my faxing, another customer came along. I listened intently as she was told something like he doesnt make the rules and she should contact the phone co to complain. Definitely a pattern here. My suggestion: If you have such a sour attitude and cannot be pleasant to customers, find another line of work. Customer service is not for you! read more

I went there looking for folders. Found the ones I wanted but needed more then what was on the shelf. I spoke with a sales associate to see if there were more in stock and she couldn't be bothered to do a stock check in the computer. After prompting her to check they in fact had 72 in stock but couldn't find them. They told me to try another store after looking for all of 5 min. I told them I didn't need them until Monday (this occurring early afternoon Saturday. Their solution was for me to try another location...30 min. away and didn't even offer to do a stock check to see if it would be at the suggested location. The bottom line...disorganized and lazy. read more
