I have been shipping my UPS packages from here, off and on, over the last 9 years and never have I been treated more rudely that today. First, I come to their shipping counter as before, very clean and well maintained, and placed my packages upon said counter. One lady on duty, on the other side of the area, who appeared to be doing laminating work. Focused on her work, I get that, yet oblivious to the fact that she had a customer. A "We'll be right with you, sir!" was all that was required. But nothing. When I finally did get her attention she asked if I was shipping packages, a fact that to me was obvious, but I told her I was and she assured me I'd be taken care of soon. As I stood and continued to wait I saw a man coming my way, thin build with a beard. And the rudest staff member I ever encountered. No greeting, asked me what I wanted, no "How may I help you?" as other Staples do. I told him trying to break the ice, with my hands on the packages, "I want these to go away." Then he demonstrated why he'll never have a better job than this, he asked me if I want to ship the packages. I told him "Yes" with just an edge of impatience to my voice. Then he said what he never should have said, "How am I supposed to know that??" So I explained, "I'm here at the UPS counter, I have packages with UPS labels, two plus two equals ..... " He told me with the same rude tone that he'd be back and I knew he wouldn't, I saw him speaking to two others, one I presumed to be the manager, if he hadn't been busy I'd have brought this to his attention. Finally the lady had a break from her work and more politely checked in my packages and gave me my tracking info. Anyone who wants to do business with this store, you're welcome to them. read more

Varied selection. But waited 10 minutes to checkout. Five employees in the st store but they didn't want to open another checkout line because it was within 15 minutes of closing. So we had five people waiting in line for an inordinate amount of time. read more

I bought an office chair less than two weeks ago.. it is defective. The store manager, the general manager, and the head corporate supervisor all refused to send a technician to fix it or pick it up. There solution was i disassemble it and bring it back. The box went out wih the recycling today and is is an extremely heavy chair.. I am 81 and live on the second floor so bringing it back is out of the question. they said to disassemble it and put the pieces in bags and return it. I shall never shop there again after 20 years of doing so. read more

Amazon started doing return drop off here instead of ups. Was third in line. Waited 35 minutes while customer 1 shipped one package. During which time phone was ringing away and the people working in the store were ignoring it. By the time I was able to leave there were 7 people behind me waiting. It is always like this here. I am typically here one or two times a week to drop off packages to be shipped. Alicia helps me most of the time and is always a pleasure to interact with. Today when I stopped in she had customers at every printer in the place, and a lady walked to the print center counter and demanded Alicia send a fax for her immediately. Alicia handled her with poise and professionalism as she explained about all of us that were ahead of her that would need to be helped first. Even as they lady became louder and demanded to know her name, Alicia remained calm and de-escalated the situation well. She then finished helping all of us and went right back to training what appeared to be someone new to the print center. Well done Alicia D! read more

I stopped in the store today to get a photo printed for a Christmas card and Pam helped me. She was so welcoming and really helped me through the process as I've never used Staples printing services, but needed to due to shipping delays from a competitor. Pam was a great associate and I'm really happy she was there to help me. She is kind and a joy to be around. I don't usually come to Staples, but knowing they have associates like Pam will most likely bring me back into the store! read more

Horrible customer service. Had to ask numerous times for someone knowledgeable. The person who finally came out (short guy with beard) said, "I don't know much about this...". Staples - Printing Services Near Me - Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania

Came here to get my yearly planner. They didn't have the one I wanted so I settled for one that gave me some of what I needed. The sell mostly office equipment along with computers and have mail service. If you are shopping for school you may get a bargain or two with headliner items but there is very little I need in this store. They also sell packing supplies and have a customer service area where you can get copies made and faxes sent. There is a rewards program if you sign up for it but I never spend that much in here to merit it. read more

It's a little overwhelming buying school supplies from a list here. I don't know the difference between an accordion folder and an expanding folder. They SOUND the same to me. You know who does know? The people that work here, and they were unerringly friendly about it. "Yeah, um. . . where are the (finger quote)book socks(end finger quote)?" "Right here, sir." (he points directly behind me) and over here as well (points down the aisle). Slight modications to this conversation occur over the visit. . . "Where are the . . . (accordion folders/erasers/highlighters/pencil sharpeners, and so on). Big back to school sale notwithstanding (I bought six spiral notebooks for $.01 each) I found everything I needed and some stuff I did not. read more

Shopping at this particular location is an eerie experience. Granted, I understand that the masses are not clammoring for office supplues 24/7/365 but seriously the entire time I was there I may have seen 3 other customers total...and the parking lot was also ghost town material. Now let's get to the actual store contents. The store itself seems a little bit out dated. Merchandise wise they have everything from large furniture and office electronics to fifty-cent bags of thumb tacks, so if you need something office related...you'll find it here. Now pricing is where things get interesting, for the most part they had a Buy One Price and a Buy 3+ Price, this got a little confusing until you realized DURH if you're an office manager this pricing might come in handy! Service was nice, albeit you didn't have to try hard since it wasn't busy. Prices were all over the spectrum. Ridiculously amazing deals on some items (flashdrives) and somewhat uncomfortably pricey on others (printer paper, wtf!). I probably will continue to buy odds and ends during Target/Walmart trips, but as long as Staples keeps sending me nice coupons, they'll definitely keep my attention. read more

If you have a print order with several different pieces to it, I would go elsewhere. I had several pieces to have printed and they forgot to print all of the fronts to a pamphlet I had (except for the proof they showed me). They did correct that as soon as I called in, but when I flew home and started cutting all of the other pieces, I realized they forgot to print several pages of a pdf so I had to print it myself. If you're just going to print a small thing I'm sure it would be fine, just don't expect a ton. I was also disappointed with their very small selection of matte paper. read more

Went into the copy shop to print some save the dates, unfortunately I took my business else where because as I was introducing my self and what I would like, the not so friendly guy behind the desk looked at me like I was idiot. I decided to just walk out and take my business else where which is unfortunate for staples because it was $100 sale, but remember I'm planning a wedding so there are other invitations, menus, programs and thank you cards we need to have printed that we will now be taking to fedex because their associates were unbelievably helpful and friendly. They didn't make me feel like I was an idiot. I will always pay extra for good service. read more

Came in towards the end of the day with a business card order. I didn't have the file as a PDF (Word format), so they had to do a little work. The supervisor was almost put out by the extra steps. Will not be coming back. read more
