This review is specifically for their print center. SUPER UNHELPFUL. If you absolutely need to be frustrated by poor customer service, Printers that are offline and ridiculously long wait times then this is your spot! I came in to print four (4) 8.5x11 .PDF's and the lady working the "Print Center" stated that she could not print them out for me. I would have to wait until the next day. F THAT. I was then directed to their self service machines. Ok, better than waiting a whole day for 4 prints right? WRONG. 1 machine was down leaving 1 printer for the whole business to operate on. Luckily, the guy who was printing a bootleg copy of war and peace had just finished his 800 page print and he let me use the ONLY PRINTER AVAILABLE IN A "PRINT CENTER". Just let that last line soak in for a second... OK, I'm in front of a machine that prints, I just saw the novel that the previous guy printed right? WRONG. The machine would not read my USB drive. The same USB drive that I literally used 5 minutes prior because I uploaded the 4 .PDF's that I needed to print on it. I was getting frustrated. so I kindly asked the lady if she could take a look. She surmised that the USB was faulty. I was like "look, I just used this USB drive 5 minutes prior because I uploaded the 4 .PDF's that I needed to print on it". I felt like I was repeating myself... At any rate, this reminded me of Dave Chapelle's "POP Copy" skit from his show. Avoid the frustration and either go to Kinko's or replace your broken printer so you don't have to deal with this.

Finding honest people is becoming more and more difficult. I needed a new office chair for my home office. I went to Staples in Novato and picked out the chair I wanted. While checking out, I was asked if I wanted to purchase a warranty for my chair. It was only nineteen dollars, give or take a few cents. I asked if the chair came with a warranty, and if so, why would I need to buy an additional warranty. We are all used to sales clerks trying to upsell warranty, and usually, I say no. But the clear was a bit aggressive, saying that if the chair has a problem, I bring it back to the store for a new one... When I asked if the chair had a warranty, the sales clerk stated that it did not. One of the reasons I picked the specific chair was the price tag spelled out the warranty. So I went back to the part of the store where the chairs were and took a picture of the warranty information. A Gal followed me back to the chairs and watched as I took the picture. She may have been the manager and tried to tell me about the store warranty plan. I showed the image to the clerk; then the Gal took over my transaction. Clearly, both people were caught in a lie. The sales clerk stated that the chair warranty was a limited warranty and would not cover scratches. When the receipt came out of the printer, the manager Gal ripped off the bottom. I didn't think much of it at the time until I got home and found that she had ripped off the part of the receipt asking for a review of my experience at the store. Really amazing. I guess they didn't want my review. Please let's change the retail world and ask people to be honest. Tom

Zac ... a very personable and resourceful manager.

That price felt reasonable, so I asked what exactly it included. The policy was explained to me along the lines of: "We can usually cover the cost of parts within this price, but occasionally there are outliers where additional costs may be necessary depending on the repair." Honestly, I found that even more reasonable. We live in a world where tech manufacturers care less and less about repairability and seem to believe you're better off just buying a new device instead of fixing the one you have. Asus itself charges a minimum diagnostic fee of $99, and that doesn't even include shipping. At that point, I can only imagine what the communication and turnaround time would look like. After a few days of diagnostics, it was explained to me that I would need a new keyboard. Most of the keys simply needed a little work to get functioning again, but unfortunately my "C" key was completely done for, which was obviously out of their control. A replacement keyboard was ordered from a relatively local supplier, but it arrived defective, so we had to pivot to another option from China. What really impressed me was that they returned my laptop to me while we waited for the new keyboard to arrive. That wasn't even something I had considered as a possibility. Even though the repair wasn't complete yet, I greatly appreciated being able to use my laptop in the meantime. That is absolutely not something you'd get from the manufacturer. The estimated arrival time for the replacement keyboard was about a month, but it actually showed up in only about two and a half weeks. I was psyched. I dropped my laptop off in the morning right when they opened, and it was ready for pickup by the end of the same day. Best of all, I was told there would be no additional charges beyond the original quote. Both of the gentlemen behind the counter were thoughtful, considerate, and professional throughout the entire process. The pricing was highly reasonable, the communication was excellent, and I got my laptop back in perfect shape in a timely manner. Highly, highly recommend.

Check attached for response to Yelp review Edit: reply is full of lies and damage control. Confirmed once to make sure battery was OEM (check screenshots for full conversation) and was polite over the phone until owner started verbally harassing me. Hung up after realizing they weren't going to do the service after scheduling an appointment for today at 12 (which they backed out on for no reason.) confirmed I didn't care if battery was OEM or not, and was just curious. More information: I only confirmed with this business that it was a battery replacement because they initially had forgotten the service I had requested (battery replacement, and they texted me asking if I wanted a "screen replacement", lol...). Also the people I talked to on the phone had initially quoted me for 115 pre-tax for the replacement, but when I spoke to them yesterday, owner tried to pull a fast one and quoted me for 125 (hence my confirming the price as well). After refusing to pay this price he went back to his initially quoted 115. Not a big deal, but it's funny that they tried changing an agreed upon price last second, lol. Scummy business practice honestly, and their replies and comments speak for themselves. Just shady people trying to scam customers. Save your time and money and pick another business! happy holidays!

Have a great service at the Novato Verizon store fine Employee named Jake look at the Verizon Vato store reviews. I wrote one, anyways while I was there I'm at this really nice lady who was new to Verizon her. Her husband lived at point Reyes. I've been with AT&T have spotty service and migrated to Verizon. Love the service and she was there to get some help. We got to talk and she was really friendly. I'm very friendly and she told me about Shannon and Cell tablet computer store. She said she went in there at various questions bought a phone case and spoke super highly about how friendly and helpful they were at Sonoma tablet computer shop and she definitely recommended me to go to the store to get a phone cover case I've been putting it off I did call about a week ago and the phone greeting and friendliness was top shelf but I put it off until today. I just went in a really super nice young man by the name of Amrit is the employee that helped me. I've got a 13 Pro Max. He showed me some of the options they had. There was one that really stood out was a really nice green vibrant color, but functionality is the most important thing in the case, you recommended and it fits perfect functionality is perfect. The screen is flushed with the case and I love the color and it has a kickstand. The pricing is excellent. I literally couldn't be happier with my overall experience from the time I walked inAmrit said hello determine what my needs were was a great tour guide to show me what my options were. I checked out using my phone with the case on for about 10 minutes. He was very patient very professional as to find any questions I ended up buying the case had pleasant conversation while doing the sales transaction thanked him for being awesome and it's my first time coming to this store and they seem to do a bunch of other stuff with like computers and you know tech stuff there are multiple customers coming in with various technological needs and I'm just glad that I met someone who told me about the store. Anyhow, do yourself a favor if you have any kind of technological computer, Phone needs there of check them out you'll be in great hands. One guy came in to get pricing for something and when they told him what the price was, he said wow that's cheaper than this other place. You know significantly cheaper to do the same work so I think just a really a cool place give him a call go down and check them out. I think you'll be glad you do.

Jonathan quoted me a fair price over the phone so I dropped in for the service and waited until it was done. Because the price was fair I decide to also install a screen protector to add to their business for my charges. After leaving and having the time to inspect it the work better, I found a fingerprint and small smudge under the screen. I called them promptly and told them I would drop by next Monday the 15th on my day off. On the 15th after removing the screen protector, which is where I thought the fingerprint and smudge were, Armit informed me it was actually under the new screen! ‍ Instead of handling it at another time, because he was alone and a little busy, he attempted to fix it by doing a rush job. Instead of removing the entire screen, he lifted only the corner and tried to reach in to wipe clean the smudges. Unfortunately, now it's worse. When I called in and spoke with Jonathan last week around Wed/Thursday, he told me he'd call me back to schedule a time when it can be done properly. A week later that call never came and I called yesterday on the 26th of September and asked Armit to have Jonathan call me. No call received... I'm sorry to say that these actions are indicators of poor service when the work is not done properly. I am disputing my charge with Credit Card since no genuine effort to resovle this problem correctly has been made: Richard B
