This is the best Staples I have ever used - I've worked from home for 20 years, so I'm a frequent flyer. The woman who manages the store is incredibly kind, knowledgeable and helpful. She goes above and beyond for each customer. Just don't go by the posted store hours on yelp. They are incorrect - use the Staples site for that. read more

Service here is kind of terrible. But I will get to that. The items and variety is pretty close to all the other staples. It is also relatively clean. If you require print services though..... not my favorite place. The staff in the print area ignore people. They do this to push people to the self service. They tell you if you email your items directly you will wait hours. So, go to today. I walked into 5 people waiting for the 1 copier at self service. The first guy had a ream and a half of paper and is making copies of probably 50 pages individually. No one else is waiting.... not for Amazon or ups. The staff ignore the cluster. So.... then we run out of paper and have to flag down the employee to fill the machine who still recognizes there is a problem. I will say they are on top of those waiting for package returns.... but it is aggravating to wait so long. read more

If I could give a 0 I would. The WORST place to make an Amazon return. If I have a choice I choose drop off at a UPS store where they are friendly and efficient. Unfortunately for me I had no choice but Michael's or Staples for this particular return. I should have opted to make the trip (out of my way) to Michael's. I was waiting in a bunched up line at the service area where I had been directed to wait in the Amazon returns line. I hear this person screaming next in line from the other side of the counter. I didn't acknowledge because I did not know he was referring to me. When the person behind me alerted me I went over and was rudely asked if " I fell asleep in line?". Taken aback and not coming to Staples to fight with anyone (let alone an employee!) I told him that I didn't know he was referring to me and he did not have to act like that with an attitude. He claimed that I had the attitude! I then asked for a receipt and was told "we don't do that" while he yelled "Next" for the next victim to approach and get his wrath. I didn't move asking why no receipt and he turns to his coworker and loudly tells her "you need to deal with this one". I seriously walked out, no receipt for my return in utter shock. I have contacted Amazon to report my experience with BRIAN from Staples New Kensington. If this was Brian on a good day, I wouldn't want to deal with him on a bad day. Throughout all of this the other employees behind the counter were unfazed which leads me to believe that this is likely an everyday event at this store. Please Amazon, drop this store as an authorized return center. They don't deserve the business. read more

Went to get ink for printer A clerk ask if I needed help. I told her yes and gave my printer number. Hp smart tank 5000. She said she needed the ink number. I told her If I remembered that I would need her help. She said she couldn't help me. I told her I would order on line instead. I am hoping someone with some authority to help will see this message. I have been having trouble with the people at the printing area for some time now. Your employees keep flip flopping on whether or not I need to pay for printing/mailing services. I send a shipping label to you via email, the worker, usually Bart, attaches the label to to an envelope, and I'm out the door. Until one day Bart charges me to do the same thing he's been doing since May 2024. So I mention it, and he just doesn't charge me. No explanation, just 1 min asking for monay amd the next oh nevermind... weird right. Fast forward through months of no charges from Bart. A few weeks ago, a younger girl with rainbow hair charges me. I ask to speak to a manger. (short woman with short brown hair) She tells me when they get busy, they don't charge and that she is guilty of it herself. And that this is why I'm being charged on a weekend vs. not getting charged with Bart. Yesterday, November 14, 2024, I walk in to do my business. I'm standing there waiting to have Bart help me. He's having a long and drawn out conversation with a lady at the counter. It begins to occur to me that this conversation isn't entirely service related so I walk over to a younger guy with glasses, and I ask if he can help me. He tells me there are only 3 of them in the store. Okay, well Bart is over there "working" with someone else. "Can you, please, help me, I say." The guy goes over to the computer, and now it seems Bart is wrapping it up. After he gets the label I emailed, he tells me to go over and get a mailer. I tell him I have never had to do that before, and I ask him what has changed. (the issue here is that he has done this before, and if I don't catch it, then I am going to be charged) Bart just pivots and gets me the UPS envelope that my jobs has already paid for and tells me not to look a gift horse in the mouth. Unbelievable. That 1 action of you pivoting like that tells me I should not be getting charged in the 1st place and that maybe you guys are charging amd mot charging for some other reason?? I have anxiety thinking of what kind of interaction I will have with your employees. As I told Bart, it's of no consequence whether I pay or not. I just want some continuity so that I understand what's going to happen when I approach the counter. I feel like if I didn't speak up yesterday and other times, I would've been charged for a prepaid service, and that's unfair. The whole time, they were saying it depends on how busy they were when now I have a recording of Bart admitting that the label covers the cost of everything. This has been so confusing. I will be checking back to see if I get any response because I have to use this location fory UPS needs. Thank you for your time. read more

I like stopping at Staples because I travel And don't have a printer so it's Nic to be able to stop get emails printed for under a $1.00. They also have tons of office supplies plus nice deals on comfy chairs for work. It's easy to get to right on Leechburg road and lots of parking. read more

The store manager Debbie was fantastic in helping us find the right ink for our printer! She went way beyond also to get us the "StaplesPoints". We deserved. It is the kindness, patience and help we get from people like Debbie that will bring us back to this store, even though we cold buy the same items online. Don't go to service deserts like Walmart! This store has terrible customer service. First an employee yelled at me when I requested help. Then a cashier refused to wait on me (she was the only one open). She told me I had to go to the print center to check out. Employee at print center wanted to know why the cashier sent me over there, but she did check me out. Print shop didn't have equipment necessary to deactivate the anti-theft device, so when I tried to leave the sensor went off. The cashier that refused to wait on me came and took my purchase and put it on the deactivator device, however she wouldn't give me my paid purchase back untl I went through the sensor again to make sure I didn't have anything else on me that would trip the alarm.
