Was in on May 6th in Hackettstown at about 3pm and the older woman at check out handling Amazon returns was obviously upset that she had to do so. Super rude to me since I did not know the process. I thought it was me. After I went back to my car to get my phone to show the QR that would be clearer than the paper work I had I got in line behind another return. She was just as rude to him! Luckily, by the time I got to the front of the short line someone else stepped in and helped me since she abandoned the station and went to checking out people that were buying things(understandable). The funny thing is just before the younger co-worker helped out she was rude to him as well. She needs to go! read more

I had an issue with my home internet and needed help with printing labels. Kyle at the Staples store in Hackettstown/Mansfield couldn't have been nicer or more helpful! He took of everything and went above and beyond to provide excellent customer service. I am very impressed with the excellent customer service at this store, and highly recommend it! read more

I can't give a 5 because they have lost my print orders twice in 4 months...but today the Copy Center Made up for it all. While I had to wait I joked is there a discount for that? She said "sure". While I tried to keep my special needs child busy (and not into everything) they reprinted. The associate found me and as I went up to pay, she stated, no charge. I was truly not expecting that. She took lemons and made lemonade. Kudos! read more

My experiences with Staples in Mansfield have been expectedly great. Their Tech staff was very friendly and helpful and went above and beyond. I also used their delivery service and was very impressed. These young folks deserve to be congratulated for doing a great job! read more

Not impressed. Customer service left a lot to be desired. Arrived at 9:15am to make a few collated, staples copies. 3 copy machines. 1 in working order. Asked employees in copy center for assistance. After being told that someone would be over in a few minutes... 15 minutes later still no help. Watched as one employee spent over 10 minutes on the phone. If they can't support new digital pay technology they should bring back the old fashioned pay in cash copy machines. Staples in Chester is MUCH better. read more

I ordered a chair and had it delivered to the store and paid for it to be put together. They told me it would be a 15 minute job to put together. Ordered it on a Wednesday to be delivered to the store Thursday and put together that day!! I waited until Saturday afternoon to pick it up and it still wasn't put together!!! A 15 minute job!!!! I called the store the next day to complain about there poor service ! I asked for the store manager , she said well what would you like me to do about it?!!!!very unconcerned about the whole thing!!! Piss poor service at this location!!!! I'll never go back again! I ordered a pack of envelopes for ship-to-store. I got an email saying they were delivered, so I went to pick them up. When I got there, not only could they not find my order, but they claimed that the person responsible wouldn't be in for two more days, and to check back then. Two days later, I called the store and waited for over ten minutes for someone to actually come to the phone. When they did, I was told that they were going to look for my order "right now" and they would call me back. They never did. This store has horrible customer service. Do yourself a favor and stay away. read more

I went to the Hackettstown Staple store today looking for printer paper and I can't believe they did more than double the walmart price, I got in walmart for 3.47 and staples was the cheapest 8 dollars and change, but I couldn't find a place to report them, I have been there a few times and always the store is empty, I did check the prices on laptops and they have laptops with OLD celeron crap processors form double the price what you can buy an i7 5th generation comp...soon they will be out of business I hope they are ripping people off...STAY AWAY FROM THEM read more

I'm pretty sure most of the employees here hate their jobs. Specifically, I've never had good service from the copy center. At a recent visit, the copy center employee was staring at his computer while he mumbled for me to wait, and he kept working on the computer for about 5 minutes, while I stood waiting for him to come help me or even make eye contact. Then, when there was a problem with his computer, he called over some disaffected manager and she also didn't make eye contact or really explain what was going on and the two of them just mumbled to each other with their backs to me while I waited, quietly, for any kind of acknowledgement. For the record, the folks who work the front registers have always been very nice and polite and engaged. read more

I ordered two bookcases online; and got free ship-to-store... when I called to make sure my order was ready; one of the managers could not even find my order... the next day; the other mgr, that signed for the order from UPS said that he understood why the first mgr. could not locate the order; because it was shipped with no PO on it.. and never had the courtesy to apologize for the delay; seemingly more concerned about making excuses than to rectify the already unprofessional situation... My recommendation: save yourself ALOT of heartache; and just pay the $$ to have it shipped to your home personally,,, this is not the way good 'ol customer service s/b; to me ! read more

We just left there after having the worst customer service experience ever. It was my husband, myself, and our toddler. I mistakenly thought you could drop off outgoing mail there. I was told curtly by a very snotty girl (aged somewhere between 17-27, ZERO eye contact) behind a counter with dark curly hair and glasses "Um, that's the post office!" I said, "oh, I'm sorry, you don't accept mail here?" No eye contact, condescending tone of voice: "No." and she walks away. Ok, talked to like I'm a moron who ruined her morning somehow, but I can deal. Someone apparently only gets to feel powerful in life here and needs it, whatever. Five minutes later, we are trying to leave and my 2-year-old son doesn't want to, so he runs out of my husband's grip. My husband, being a responsible parent, runs after him to catch him. Same rude girl as before literally YELLS at my husband "NO RUNNING!" That's it: we asked for the manager. Teenage boy with dark hair behind the front counter snickered at us and didn't even call him over. Told us he'll be back in a second and we should wait. Chris was the manager on duty and when he eventually came back he literally defended his staff. He said "no disrespect was meant" but kids have run and been hurt. ??? So you rudely scream at grown adult customers trying to stop their kids from running? Wouldn't even address the other attitudes and treatment we received. He literally didn't care. Again, no eye contact. This is a zero-social-skills-zone, apparently. Don't go here unless you feel like being treated like you're bothering them, condescended to, disrespected and snickered at. My web broadcasting computer was down for the count and I need help badly. My usual cyber advisers were off to college leaving me high and dry to broadcast web shows that were sounding awful. With a bit of trepidation, I decided to try the computer repair dept. at Staples in Mansfield. There, I turned my computer over to Adam. He looked the situation over and soon had my computer running just fine. I couldn't be happier with the service. The shows sound great and it didn't cost buckets of money or, take days of waiting to get the job done. If I get another problem and, I hope I don't, I'll take my computer to Staples. Thank you Adam. This morning I go in to send a fax and it wouldn't send so I ask Victoria the employee who is always working behind the copy center for help and she was so unprofessional and rude as usual she never wants to do her job all she does is walk around and hide in the back with other employees. I'm very disappointed because I go in there very calm and Victoria the copy center employee is always rude or just snotty never wants to do her job just wants to give attitude and make you're staples experience uncomfortable and you can't even complain because staples and the managers do nothing about her snotty arrogant attitude. I wish I didn't have to use this staples but it's the only one in the area. read more
