First off, who runs this place? Have they taken a look around? 99% of business is amazon returns and they have one poor older lady who did a great job, but 5 other young people standing around doing nothing. It took me 25 minutes to return my amazon package, and there were people standing around doing nothing. I asked the person behind the counter for assistance and she was very polite and helpful. The price was a little higher than I expected but I haven't sent a FAX for over a decade! I purchased my laser printer at Staples in Chambersburg, PA. I went to pick up a laser ink cartridge and they do not carry my cartridge. How can you sell a product and then not keep in stock the cartridges? I was not a happy camper when I left there and if possible,,,,,will not purchase from you again if I can get it elsewhere. I've used staples to buy printer ink and printer paper. The prices are higher than Walmart. The store is closer to my house and the employees provide good customer service. For example, they have provided answers to my questions regarding computer security. This is a recommended store for computer and software products. read more

We went into Staples because we had been referred to their Tech department. The associate- Mason- was not only not helpful, but barely responsive - - bordering on being curt and dismissive to us. Great customer service! I had to use the self serve copier to copy my grand child's birth certificate. The staff there came over and explained what I needed to do. They were very professional. I was in and out in a few minutes. Over a week later, I realized I could not find the original certificate I had copied. I called the store and spoke to Bailey: she listened patiently, took down some info, putme on ho6for a couple minutes, then came back and reported they had the original and I just needed to come in and ask for a manager. When I got to the store m, she remembered me from the phone call and went to get a manager for me. She told me that the store practice is to take items left by customers and put them in their safe. Bailey was friendly and professional. The manager came, and he asked to see my ID and for me to provide some information before turning over the document. I appreciate the added level of security. I was so relieved that the staff took the time to save the document in a secure place. Honestly, they could have just thrown it away. The fact they didn't showed they care about customers. I was in here around back to school looking to score some deals on pens and notebooks I use in everyday life. The store wasn't dead, that's for sure! They have such an ample supply of office/school supplies, it's fun to see what all you may "need." They run some good sales around back to school. Customer service wasn't at a level I'd expect. A little off-putting. Oh well, I wasn't there for conversation (luckily, or I wouldn't have gotten one). My husband goes here for supplies for where he works sometimes, and he finds the service to typically be good. Perhaps I caught someone on a bad day. I haven't been to this store recently enough (just once) to comment on those customer service experiences. The store was pretty well stocked the day I was there. The clearance section in the back was terrible, though. Messy, many items had no prices, and a lot of the discounts were sad at best. Kind of expensive here, but selection is great. read more

1 out of the 6 or so times I've been here have I received anything that can be called customer service. This visit, my husband and I were looking to buy a computer. We looked independently until we found the one we wanted and then waited for assistance. The tech desk had about 5 people waiting for assistance with two techs on staff. One manager was working in the copy center and taking furniture out for customers while the other manager was assisting someone at the service desk. They were busy, I won't deny that, however after 15 minutes nobody even acknowledged us. There was an associate bringing carts into the store when we walked in and didn't seem interested in doing anything but staring at us. I don't mind waiting, I completely understand the staffing issues but to not say a word to customers waiting in a high ticket item area seems crazy. Unfortunately, we required assistance because computer stock is kept in areas customer cannot access, which is fine. In that case someone please at least pretend we're alive. I called another Staples store while in this one and asked them to please check stock to see if it was even available. It wasn't so we left. This other store would be quite out of my way to shop, but at this point it's the only Staples I'll go to. Sad thing is, despite any ratings this location isn't going to improve customer service practices because there is no other local competition and people will continue to shop there regardless. I'd rather go out of my way to a different store than give this location another chance. read more

Ordered online 6 cans of Chock Full o Nuts 30.5 oz cans of coffee, using my $30 off coupon of a $60 order. Done this in the past. I like the coffee, and the price works out to the sale price if I watch for a special at ShopRite, but for the smaller 26 oz can. Was delivered to my home in Bethlehem, PA wrapped in plastic by UPS. Only the bottom of the cans had cardboard protection. This time two of the cans were crushed on the side, one had opened and was leaking the ground coffee inside the shrink wrap. I complained to Staples, and they are sending two replacement cans no charge. Told me to toss or donate the damaged cans. The one that is just crushed I will likely use, Anyhow, the moral of the story is order 5 cans so they put it completely in a box. read more

I went in today to buy a advertised laptop. I waited for 20 minutes to be helped (after asking 2 sales associates to help me). Finally I approached checkout and they found someone to help me . This sales associate passed me off to another, who CLEARLY did not want to help me. I was treated like a interruption to his job. I thought customer service was his job? Silly me. Very poor service. I took an updated version of my business card in to them today to have printed. The suggestion from the "service rep" was to go home and fill out an online form because it is easier that way. I asked her why, because the last time I did this they took my usb drive and just did it and I picked them up the next day. She proceeds to tell me ":well if you enter it online, its just easier." EASIER FOR WHO?? HER ?? SURE AS HELL NOT FOR ME!! DO YOUR DAM JOB YOUNG GIRL! I am so sick of young kids so called service.
