Me. I reached out instead of just making me aware - "hey things are good to go for your event someone will meet you tomorrow at this time blah blah" just example. Maybe im being bratty but that was pretty much the only thing that annoyed & stressed me out for my son's FIRST BDAY. Overall poor communication & business on her end. I had to ignore her afterwards to enjoy my party. & a lot of my guest liked this place as well and are considering this space. Again, I WOULD rent this space again. There's a lot to like. Very little parking and the back leads into an alley way. There was a lot of guests so we were told to park in the residential area which had sketchy surroundings when walking back towards the event space. When we entered the space, it felt like an open layout house. Fairly modern design. Useful space. Two restrooms for guests. There was a small connecting area with a fridge for storage. The next room over was perfect for a small play bouncer. No kitchen area. The catering company all had to set up outside in the already limited parking lot area. The pavement was in ruin. My partner and I were pretty set with their packages as they included a lot that we felt we would need for the day such as early access to the venue the day of, crystal dance floor , day of coordinator, etc, but they were also very accommodating for any outside vendors we wanted to add in with approval. We also love that their bar was "open" in which we just needed to provide the alcohol/ mixes. The space was large, which is what we needed as we expected 300 guests. All our guests loved the food and dessert served and how beautiful the venue itself was! I think the only thing that might have been a minor issue is the parking situation as the white house shares a lot with Adventure City so it was very crowded by the time cocktail hour started. They do have a lot behind the venue with more parking, however they did have to ask our guest to move their cars during the reception from the back lot to the front as the backlot closes at a certain time (and by that time Adventure city was closed so there was space at the front again). Personally, I love how everything turned out and I'm very grateful to Exy and Sarah, the assistant coordinator, and the rest of the White House staff for how well the day went.
