    Planning a wedding is stressful enough, but nothing prepares you for hearing that your venue won't be ready two weeks before your big day. That's exactly what happened to us. We had booked QD Venue with Tom, the owner, months in advance, and I had my heart set on celebrating in his brand-new location. When he called to tell us that, due to unexpected issues, the venue wouldn't be open in time, I honestly broke down. We were just two weeks away how on earth were we supposed to find a new venue after planning every detail? To Tom's credit, he stepped in right away and tried his best to fix the situation. He found another venue for us, one that was somewhat similar to what we had originally reserved, and offered a small discount toward a future event. He also gave us extra tables and centerpieces, which I truly appreciated. Throughout the chaos, his communication was good if he missed a call, he always got back to us quickly. The replacement venue itself was... okay. It did the job, but it definitely wasn't the dream space we had envisioned. There were visible screws in the floors, storage boxes sitting in the hallway where everyone could see them, a bar that looked dirty, and an LCD screen that didn't work properly. It was hard not to notice all the little details that reminded me this wasn't the place I had dreamed of walking into on my wedding day. Then came the DJ situation and honestly, this was one of the biggest disappointments. If Tom recommends Felix as your DJ, please, do yourself a favor and say no. He never answers calls, never coordinated with us about songs, entrances, or dances, and he showed up looking like he just rolled out of bed in sweatpants and a t-shirt for a wedding! He didn't even announce the cake cutting, so half our guests never got to enjoy it, and the leftover cake ended up being thrown away by the venue instead of letting us keep it. Despite everything, I do want to recognize the parts that went beautifully. The decorations were stunning exactly what I had envisioned. The food was absolutely delicious, full of flavor, and our guests couldn't stop talking about how good it was. The cake was not only gorgeous but also tasted amazing. For those moments, I was truly happy. However, being told we could have the venue until 12:00 a.m. and then having the staff start kicking people out by 11:30 really put a damper on things. After all the stress we'd gone through, it was heartbreaking to end the night feeling rushed. In the end, I genuinely believe Tom has a good heart and truly wants the best for his clients. He did everything he could to help in a really tough situation, and I'll always appreciate that effort. I just wish things had gone as originally planned, because I know if our wedding had been at his actual QD Venue, it would have been a completely different and much smoother experience. If you decide to book with QD, my advice is simple: make sure your event is confirmed at Tom's venue itself, not anywhere else. I know he means well, but there's only so much you can control when you're at someone else's location.

    I recently attended my friend's Quinceañera at The QD venue, and I can honestly say it was a night to remember. From the moment my friends and I walked through the doors, the venue was breathtaking. The chandeliers and decor set a tone for an amazing night. The layout was perfect for a Quince. There was plenty of room for our court's surprise dance without guests feeling cramped. Shoutout to the staff who were incredibly attentive. They handled the dinner service well with professionalism. The QD venue is an awesome place They truly helped make my friend feel super special on her big day.

    I just had my daughter quinceanera on 12-13-25 Cecilia the decor did an amazing job with the decor and listened what I wanted. Steak fajitas delicious and salsa,thanks to chef Lulu and bartender Fernado did awesome mixed drinks many compliments from my guest. Tom stepped in to help when needed including Anthony.

    We chose the QD Venue for our daughter's Quinceañera held in February 2025. Tom was immediately responsive and supportive from the beginning. He offered 3 packages for our size event. We selected the premium package and couldn't be any happier with the preparation and service. While you can bring in your own vendors or DIY your event, the QD Venue has various vendor contacts for event needs. We elected to have the venue coordinate everything but the photographer/videographer, choreographer, appetizer table, and dance snack. We did bring our own beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, which their bartender served all night; we were able to take home any leftover beverages. Note that the tasting fee to select our dinner menu and cake flavors came as a surprise since we selected a package that included food and cake. We were invited to the tasting, along with other event families, and were not notified about the fee until the end of the tasting. Other than that, all other communication and accommodation was great! It was so nice to sit back and enjoy the festivities rather than keep up with various vendors. Planning and coordinating with Tom and Anthony was smooth and stress free. The service was great, from the servers, DJ, photobooth attendants, and from Anthony and Tom themselves who touched base with us frequently throughout the event. Thank you, QD Venue, for helping us to celebrate our Quinceañera's special day!

    Anthony helped us a lot: from last minute questions to questions months in advance! The QD venue offers a lot of options. We got the most basic package and they allowed us to be there from 12pm to set up and get ready. They are able to work with your needs and that's what I appreciate the most! The QD team was also so friendly and helpful! Everyone had a great time

She was to talk to, which made the whole process of planning a wedding less stressful. The florist industry was and is still going through a flower shortage, but they did their magic to get me the exact color and flower choices we wanted. We're very thankful and appreciative of their work, so we gave them gratuity to hopefully make up for some inflation. I highly highly recommend these ladies for your wedding flowers. I'm sure being in the business for so long she's dealt with a ton of bridezillas but she remained professional throughout the whole process and only wanted the best for me and my husband. For my florals, I really wanted white dried leaves and knew they were limited and hard to get but she went out of her way to make sure I got them for my floral arrangements! Ven was just so very easy to work with and was always available to us when we had questions. Our wedding wouldn't have looked beautiful the way it was without her stunning work. But Abby nailed it of course, her design sense is unreal. Florals: I had a whimsical vision for my flowers and I wanted it to look like bursts of stars. I am lucky I didn't have any preferences on specific flowers, but Cindy gave a very detailed list of the florals she would use in our quote which I appreciated. As we progressed towards wedding day, she would advise if something would not work with our setup or plans and pivot accordingly. When I saw everything the morning of, it was soo beautiful against the blue sky. It looked elegant, gentle, and had that little bit of whimsy. Any floral decor for the tea ceremony was also transported to our reception where it was repurposed for the sweethearts table!! Coordination: There is a saying that if you didn't notice anything that means you had a good experience. Mostly for user experience in websites, but the same can be applied here. I'm an easily stressed out gal so I knew having a day-of-coordinator would be beneficial. There were logistics that were super important, but it would have never crossed my mind had Cindy not brought it to my attention. At the reception, Cindy and her team made sure to have it run as smoothly as it can. They took care of all the setup, communicated with the vendors, and cued us for the next event / activity so we could finish in a timely manner. Thinking back on the day, I didn't have to worry about a thing and just floated around like a jellyfish. Cindy is punctual, detail-oriented, friendly, and personable. Her team is just as kind and wonderful. They even helped me get a lil bug out of my dress without skipping a beat. I had such a wonderful experience with my wedding as someone who didn't think she needed one to be happy. I was able to focus on the love for my friends and family which is so important to me. Although…read moreHeather communicated very well, there were a couple of incidents that I found slightly unprofessional: 1. I signed a contract with one of her staff as my wedding planner. Unfortunately, from my understanding, there were unexpected changes in the company, so Heather had to take over. However, Heather responded that she would make an exception for me and not charge me an additional $1000 for this change. With all due respect, I should not be financially penalized for changes that an owner experiences; especially since I already signed the contract that I financially agreed to. 2. I encountered a lot of life changes that disrupted my ability to move forward with a wedding that my brothers were supposed to be in. For instance, I had a depressed, suicidal brother, I had another brother leave for Japan for the Marines, and I had an uncle pass away. All vendors except for Heather were so kind to fully refund my deposits due to the situation. Unfortunately, Heather responded that she was still a businesswoman and was financially hurting, so she was in no place to offer a full refund. I basically paid Heather almost $500 to establish a simple contract. I already had all the vendors in place and organized, so this deposit was for nothing. Heather should not be held responsible for unexpected circumstances, but this wedding meant a lot to me. As a business owner, you should be able to compromise with your clients based on their situation. I could have easily used that deposit to help my family for the funeral. I find this situation absurd because I never wanted a wedding planner to begin with. Our wedding list was only 32 guests, but my fiancé insisted that we hire a planner because he did not want me to stress out. I admire him for caring, but this wedding was going to be a private and intimate event with very little management. I blame myself for hiring a wedding planner when I did not need one. It is unfortunate that Heather was thinking like a businesswoman and not a human being with empathy. Nonetheless, please make sure to ask about the refund policy for emergencies such as death, health, etc. Two stars are for her communication, but I can only evaluate Heather based on my experience with her before the wedding date. Therefore, I am unable to provide feedback for her day service since my wedding never happened. Has it ever occurred to you, Heather, that you had not heard from me in a year because I was busy dealing with other important things like planning a funeral? My wedding was the last thing on my mind. Also, I was not complaining about the charge that never happened, I am complaining about your response to your changes. There was no need to comment on that you are more expensive and won't be charging me. We could have proceeded forward with whatever it was we were doing. You contacted ONE venue and that is because they had YOU sign a contract with them. FYI, my pre-engagement photos were scheduled with the photographer I hired for my wedding and I was still refunded the full amount. This vendor did not work for free either and still managed to prioritize customer service over money. You are a business owner and have the liberty to do as you please, but you must have needed the money more than I did, so I hope my contributions helped your business. Nonetheless, well done on your communication. If you have a family member with a life-threatening illness or you have a medical condition that may require potential hospitalization, please do not hire Heather as your wedding planner as she will not refund you the deposit because not make exceptions for your situation simply because she does not "work for free." Her and her assistant, Courtney, handled E V E R Y T H I N G on the day of our wedding at the Estate on Second and then some. If there was any sort of problem, she had the solution. If we needed a drink, she was there with mine and my husband's signature cocktails. If I was losing track of time, she made sure to gently push me along. She truly handled everything so that me and my husband could just have FUN and for that I am truly grateful.

Definitely book him ASAP if you're getting married in 2027 because Duy is extra popular here in Orange County. Since Duy was not available, he assured me that he had a team under him which he had trained to be as skillful as he is. He did not pressure me to book with his team and gave me a lot of time to look over the various clips of his team so I can get a feel for their style of MC. It took me a few months to get back to him about hiring his team for our wedding. We decided on hiring MC Allen, MC Jasmine, and a DJ for our wedding entertainment. Since our reception is a bilingual reception, we needed MC Jasmine to help with introducing the Vietnamese family members. Duy was my direct point of contact during the entire planning process. He had me fill out a timeline and some questionnaires to build a program around our reception. A week before our wedding, MC Allen reached out to have a phone call to discuss timeline details and music so he can better understand how to set the mood for our reception. He was very thorough and did his best to make sure we knock out every single detail. On the day of our wedding, the team arrived promptly to set up at our reception venue. We began at 6pm sharp, which was the timeline I had given the team. The DJ and MC Allen really did bring great energy to our party as we could hear our guests yell out from excitement as we did our grand entrance. The rest of the night went beautifully as MC Allen and the team had our wedding guests play fun games and kept everyone fully engaged. The team did a great job reading the room, as they knew it was time to open the dance floor a tad bit early to get the dance party started. We received so many compliments about the playlist. We had a fun mix early 2000s pop dance hits, hip-hop, and EDM as well as some newer selections but we stuck to what we knew the crowd would feel nostalgic over. WHY WE HAD TO GIVE 4 STARS INSTEAD OF 5: It really pains me to write this part as my husband and I really love working with AAA Entertainment. Duy was very easy to communicate with, MC Allen and the DJ team worked endlessly the entire night to make sure we had the best night of our lives. However, MC Jasmine left a bad impression on us and our families. It felt like she did not do her homework prior to our wedding reception. She did not reach out to me to go over any of the details, Vietnamese names or family members I wanted to be recognized. At our reception, she never once introduced herself to me. She insisted to my husband to read my last name as my first name, even though it was not even my legal first name. On top of that, she miscommunicated with my Mother-in-Law and failed to take any accountability. Instead, she told my Mother-in-Law that it was her fault for the poor communication. We were taken aback by her poor behavior. Despite MC Jasmine's lack of effort, we still appreciate the rest of the AAA Entertainment team. We absolutely recommend AAA Entertainment for any wedding or event. They are amazing at what they do!

From the moment we had to pick a planner, we knew Maria was the right choice. Our first phone call felt like talking to your best friend you had known for years. She showed genuine care and interest from the get go and we knew we were in good hands. As someone who is a little more Type A (bride) when it comes to organization and planning, it was over whelming trying to consider how to plan the biggest day of our lives. Maria went above and beyond and took any ounce of stress away. She helped us pick our vendor team early on into the planning process, allowing us to find people who matched our energy. What seemed to be so daunting became some of the easiest decisions to make. Throughout the year, Maria checked in with us to make sure things were okay. She looked over our contracts and helped us plan the next steps whether it was food tasting, floral meetings, making a design deck, or buying a cake just for a photo. Monthly chats quickly turned into weekly chats as we got closer to the big day. Maria ensured every little detail was covered asking us questions about our bridal party, songs we wanted to be played, table greetings, and thank you cards. Before the day of our wedding, she sent us a checklist of items to give her to help take the added weight off our shoulders so we can enjoy our day. What we thought was already an above and beyond was nothing near the day of experience. Maria and her team could not have planned a better timeline for us and our loved ones. Maria took charge handling all our vendors while her assistants Cat and Chelsea ensured we were okay and our bridal party was set and ready to go. Everything was seamless as they took care of little things such as ensuring we had food to eat, water to drink, and a moment to breathe. When we had some last minute changes such as changed meals or guest coming and going, they handled it with ease. Many of our guest raved about our vendors and how amazing the day was, but it couldn't have happened without Maria and her team. Our closest loved ones who knew Maria was our planner couldn't stop complimenting how on top of it she was the whole day, and we couldn't agree more. Maria is not only a planner but she becomes your friend. She takes genuine interest in you and makes you feel on top of the world. We couldn't be more fortunate enough to have worked with her and her team.

While there, we stumbled into the ball room where we stood in awe at what was at the time, one of the most beautiful wedding designs I had ever seen. My mother and I promptly asked the first person we saw who was designing this wedding and got a card for a "Natalie Good". I pocketed the card and thought- one day! Fast forward 5 years I had met Matt(my now husband) and we were moving into together. I was cleaning my room at my parents house and came across Natalie's card and put it in my purse. 3 months later, Matt proposed on a Saturday and the following Monday I called Natalie and booked her. First and foremost, Natalie is an angel on this planet. Wedding planning is so stressful and I never had to worry about a single thing, she went above and beyond to make sure I was not stressed and happy. She is more than just our wedding planner and over the 3 years we planned my wedding (thanks covid...), she became my friend and someone who I adore Second, when going down this road, I think trusting your planner/wedding team is extremely important to make sure the process is seamless and smooth. I can tell you that without a doubt, I trust Natalie and her team implicitly! I trusted them so much that I let them run free on the design for my wedding and I could not have been happier! Everything was perfect and so gorgeous- from the table design to the flowers, everything was flawless and it was so amazing to watch her vision come to life. It's been 3 months and I am still getting calls and compliments from all of our guests and even friends of guests who weren't there but saw pictures. She is insanely talented and has an unbelievable list of vendors that are just as talented. We even had a silent disco at our wedding and it was a hit! Third, her team is awesome. The women who helped me specifically- Ellie, Kennedy, and Maddy- where next level professional and so helpful. There were nights where I would be up at midnight and text Ellie and she would always answer and talk me down. Kennedy and Maddy were running around on wedding day making sure I was hydrated and fed and happy. Everything about A Good Affair is top notch and I could not be more grateful or fortunate to have had them design, plan and make our dream wedding a reality. What I can say is, they don't really go straight to the point and communicate back n forth in email when you had requested 3 times to call you to talk it out. I mean, if off the bat you're having a hard time conveying your plans, pricing with me then its not worth my time. They reply back quick, which I appreciate but them going around in circles is annoying. Also, if you're looking for budget, this is NOT the place for budget. She knew my budget, yet continued to ask questions through email. Finally, she gives me the quote of $10-$15k for a wedding next year (saying pricing will go up next year) and if its something i am still interested in. Wow, knowing where my budget is, which was less than $3k, and you know your asking is triple that, is so unprofessional. This is not accommodating to new clients or at all helpful. If you plan to have a wedding with a $10-$15k budget in mind then this might be your type of vendor but if you're asking for really minimal details for $3k, and they don't just say "sorry our services are over your budget" then they don't care or respect your needs. These days, customer service should be catered to what you can provide for the client. If you can't make it work, then just simply let the client know. Do not waste their time with back n forth email. Some of us don't understand what you're saying in email and a clearer communication shows you care enough to explain it.

I was deciding between venues and ultimately went with Venue by Three Petals per the astounding recommendation of a bride who also had hers here in 2021. Having had my wedding in September 2023, I can definitely attest to the great things that have been said about this venue. Planning a wedding of ~250 guests was definitely not the easiest thing to do but I was so lucky to have worked with Jenn throughout the process. She has been instrumental from beginning to end. Her professionalism, attention to detail, patience, and accommodations... The accolades go on! She knew what little pieces to add to make the wedding really stand out. Her work with the floral chandelier was amazing! I had given her the floral design deck provided by my florist and she did such an outstanding job with coordinating it. My guests can not stop raving about the food and the generous portions!! We opted for seven courses that included the hors d'oeuvres and it was one of the best decisions I've made. I loved that they packaged all the courses for my husband and I to take home. Honestly, I wish I was a guest at my own wedding because I wanted more. LOL. Also, the drinks? Amazing. Incredibly glad we invested quite a bit into the bar! The lychee-tini was my signature drink while my husband's was the tuxedo mule. They were definitely a big hit. The bartenders were so kind! Another thing to note is the generous parking that the venue provides and just the ease of its layout. Definitely consider, or rather, just book your next event here!! So, so elated with how my wedding turned out!!
