It was supposed to be a medium length trim, because my head shape is not perfect. 20 minutes later I got a military style SHORT cut with a little bush at the top. I can do such cut myself for free looking at the mirror and with my clippers. I look absolutely ridiculous and have now to cancel the photo shoot until the hair grows back which may take a month. I paid $50 plus $10 tips for this because the guy honestly did some work, had pleasant mannerisms and was courteous and friendly. But never ever will I be trusting my haircut to them. I am furious and absolutely devastated.

They're accurate. My son and I have been here once for a haircut and it was uneven and not cut properly. I showed up again this past week to give them another chance. I was a few (3) minutes late for his appointment. I was told "I'm running a business here you're late". And was given a HUGE attitude through the entire cut. I was uncomfortable enough that I was considering getting up and walking out at that moment. I'm not confrontational, so I stayed for the cut. Tipped $2 which the barber didn't even deserve and then left. You won't be running a business for long if you treat customers like this. There are much better options in the area. Don't go here. You've been warned.

While Bostonian's charme is in the barbers' entertaining manly dirty talk and Roosters is known for its luxurious, formal appearance of shop and employees, IMHO, this shop strikes the golden middle between the two. Peter, the manager / main barber, is a master of his art, took 1.5h for my first visit, 1h after opening hours, on a Sunday, and created one of the best beard and hair looks I ever had. Including a greatly honest consultation, talking me out of my idea to grow my hair shoulders long based on my hair structure and what would look good on me. he had a nice collection of photos from his Instagram profile which greatly helped us navigate our style planning and the outcome was even better than I expected.
