Kacy's worked on Newbury Street at prestigious salons for years, so you're basically getting the best of Newbury Street at a more convenient location (Oak Square - think easy and free parking) and more reasonable price point. Love that she can handle any hair type - from my best friend's cool blond hair, to my coarse thick brown hair, as well as working with my aunt who I referred and toning out the yellow and restoring her beautiful platinum silver hair. Kacy is talented at both cut, layering, color, and highlights. I also love that she's really nice and has a very strong work ethic - she always replies in a timely manner and was so kind when I had to reschedule an appointment. I highly recommend Kacy (and anyone she'd hire to work at the salon) because she truly has impeccable taste.

I asked the stylist to tame it and we agreed to a spot about 3 inches, plus trim on the sides. I removed my glasses and said "I trust your judgement" which was a mistake. She worked on it and when she was done I put my glasses back on and my beard was less than an inch long. She said when she got to the spot we agreed to she thought it was still too wild so she kept trimming, without asking me. I didn't complain, because the damage was done and I thought it would grow back quickly, but a month later it's still much shorter than I want - and much shorter than we agreed to. If I can't trust a stylist while my glasses are off, I can't go back here.

So I ask the receptionist if they could possibly squeeze me in...she says no, they are completely booked today and tomorrow...no stylist available til next week. Yikes!
