We booked Stanley Steemer to clean at their special of 3 rooms for $69. We are selling our home and just needed the living room, dining room and hallway cleaned. We do have spots but we can take care of them ourselves once the rug has a general cleaning. The gentleman that came out said $350!!. He said that they consider the living room 2 rooms (really?) Then he asked if I was a first time user of SS and I said no. Then he gave me the price of $250~~ What a SCAM. It's cleaner and steam! I sent him on his way. First time using Stanley Steemers today and will use them again in the future without hesitation. I used the online reservation system and was amazed not only to be able to get an appointment the same day but so soon. The dispatcher called about 30 minutes after making the appointment letting my know the crew was on its way over from a near by town. Omar and Alec arrived shortly after the phone call professionally dressed, with a smile and great attitudes. They explained the whole process to me and I showed them the trouble areas I've been having with my wife's dog and they went right to work. They were very cautious and caring to my house and moved furniture as necessary to get the carpet cleaned as much as possible. These guys worked their butt's off to get it done right. I'll be honest, I was hesitant to call a carpet cleaner owning a carpet shampooer of my own but tired of poor results I made the call to the name I've seen around for ever Stanley Steemer. I called a couple local places for estimates on cleaning the carpet in my new home and they gave us estimates $100+ more than what Stanley Steemer did. Plus, customer service was AWESOME compared to the other places I called! The people on the phone were very polite, and Arturo, who did the work, was excellent, even though he had to wait for me to get there. No Show! Very Unprofessional! We had a 4 hour window of 3-7 on a Saturday. They called and asked if they could come early but we could not because he had a party to go too. They said they would come later, 7 rolled around and they didn't show. So I called them and the operator said someone arbitrarily rescheduled us for Monday. They never bothered to call and let us know. The whole reason i went with them over the other local steam cleaners was because they said they could come on Saturday since i had furniture being delivered on Sunday. I will never use this company again. Very unprofessional from such a big company. They put us in a bind and they have lost a customer for life. I would not recommend them, infact i will recommend the local steemer, Happy Carpet Care, they came at 8 pm that night, what a life saver! read more

In my first review I rated my experience with Stanley Steamer as a 1 due to some issues I had with the quality of the job. I was amazed that I received a phone call from the manager within 20 minutes offering to send someone to make things right. He set an appointment with the quality control supervisor to come check the job. Don the supervisor arrived promptly as scheduled, checked my carpet, explained why my carpet was not staying as clean as I had expected. He then offered to re-clean the rooms I had problems with even though it was 7 weeks since the original cleaning. Don did an excellent job and explained several things to me to help keep my carpet cleaner in the future. So, I gladly change my review from a 1 to 5 and truly appreciate the professionalism demonstrated by this company. read more

After a long week of looking for someone too come clean our carpet i came across Stanley Steemers. They met all the requirements I was looking for, we wanted someone out the same day, wanted them to have good reviews on yelp, and most importantly be affordable. Called them up around 10am and they said they can have someone out by noon YES!!!!!. Around 11:40 I get a courtesy phone call from Gabriel to advice that he'll be at my house by 12 that's awesome. Sure enough 11:59 he's at my door. Really really really nice guy, very friendly and knowledgeable. He went through all the details of what he's was to be doing. Very professional. Halfway through I get a knock on my door and it's another employee for SS ( I forgot his name ). He also was very polite and said he was here to check on Gabriel just in case he needs help moving furniture around and to ensure that Gabriel is meeting our expectations. That's awesome, they have quality control which means they stand behind there work. 2 hours later Gabriel was done, he made sure he didn't leave a mess behind he thanked us for our business and was on his way. My wife and I were very very pleased with the results and would not hesitate to call these guys up again. I have what looks Like brand New carpet in my living room and in my family room. Quick, friendly, honest, and moved our furniture for us. What more could we ask for?

This company is a bate and switch rip off company. I called the company regarding there $49.00 special. The technician came out and immediately wanted me to sign the contract before he would put in a price. When I insisted that he give me a price, he quoted $189.00. When I told him I did not want the $189.00 service he became visibly anger and said the I would get a bill from their attorney office's for travel time. I called there Stanely Steemer's Office and told them what happened, Rochelle told me that I would be billed $99.00 for a call out service even though I did not use the service or agree to this arrangement. Beware of a lot of 5 star ratings because many companies use this to cover up negative ratings. read more

This is the second time that I have used this company. The first time the tech was friendly, professional and did his due diligence in contacting me appropriately. This time I was called and told they would be at my place in 20 mins. I did exactly as I did before opened the garage and waited in the living room for them to make some kind of contact, knock on the front door, garage door something. I was on the phone and saw a vm come in and I immediately got up to go outside. No one was there. I called and was told that they could not get hold of me and went on to the next stop. Of course I'm upset, not only because I did my due diligence in making myself available waiting for at least a knock on my door or a phone call to say we are out front. That didn't happen I received a phone call after they were gone. Yes I was angry as any customer would be and as I was on the phone with the phoenix office I was hung up on when I asked for the names of the ones who were dispatched because they apparently called me a liar. I called phoenix again and they said they will be dispatched out in 45 mins. When they got here there were two the young guy got smart with me. This yelp is for the customer service. On this call there was no customer service. The older guy remained quiet, and I may be wrong but I think he was quiet because he knew they did not do their due diligence in trying to make contact once they got here. I was happy with how clean the carpet looked but missed a fresh smell afterward...deodorizing was one of the things I paid extra for and it still smells the same, just less...I can smell mildew a bit as well...it is warm but the carpet dried quickly so there should not be a lingering smell. Otherwise, the carpet is relatively clean with a few missed spots. My rug I paid extra for, on the other hand, not so clean. read more

First time using Stanley Steamer, and it has been a great experience. From calling in to get information to scheduling around my busy days. Manuel Pitts was who came out to clean our master bedroom and 13 stairs. We recently moved in and previous tenants had cats so it was not a very good first impression. Manuel came out and deep cleaned our carpets gave us information on products they carry and let me tell you he has very good customer service, he was friendly, came in with a smile at 8am , and can tell he's a people person which is great. I hope he gets recognized for his great customer service. I would def ask for him again and would recommend to my friends and family. read more

If you use Stanley Steemer's water ligation department make sure to keep all documents, communications and pictures. With the negligence of their crews you will need it to take them to court. We have it all and are in the process of filing a small claims case against in the amount of $1800 which is the additional amount we had to pay another water ligation company to come in after Stanley to clean up their mess and damage. We have the text messages and emails were we questioned them why they did not pull up the floor and they stated they knew their job. They did not the floor was still wet when the contractors went to start the work plus we now had mold. Ever and Edgar tried to lie their way out until we showed them the proof. Miguel Ever's boss stated over 7 weeks ago that Stanley Steemer's was going to reimburse for the second water ligation charge but nothing and now he is ignoring us. So we are on to the next step. Richard and Omar showed up on time and immediately started pre-spotting the three rooms in question. Our teenage daughter's room was a mess and these workers made it look new again. Horrible service I called them this morning they gave me a window between 12 and 4 they showed up at 4:30 the two guys got here they get out of the van they come inside and look at the job they get their equipment out and it's real obvious that they're lazy and they don't want to work they start doing the floor and I asked him I said you need a Steemer we need the floor steam with steam they said oh we don't do that I told them I requested the morning when I spoke to the lady on the phone and she said yes they can come out and steam the tile and now these guys are here saying they don't do that that they only use hot water so I asked why do they call you Stanley Steemer if you guys don't even steam they just kind of laughed I told him just pack up and leave horrible service it's our first time calling them out and will never ever use them or even refer them to any of our family members service was extremely poor if I can give them less than one star I would give them a zero read more

Today, Omar Maldonado, and Wilson Martinez from Stanley Steemer (in Rancho Cucamonga) came out to our home and cleaned 4 areas inside; (The living room, dining room, stairs, and the upstairs hallway. We are so pleased with the results! Our carpet is 10 years old and we had never had it professionally cleaned. We had previously used a Hoover cleaner which we purchased ourselves. After dogs, kids, etc tracked across it constantly over the years, it was in dire need of a pro cleaning. The before and after difference is incredible!! Both Omar and Wilson were very friendly & professional, and worked hard as a team to get the job done! We called Stanley Steemer for the first time on the recommendation of a friend. Today Andy and Gabriel came to clean our carpets. They showed up on time, moved whatever furniture we asked them to, thoroughly explained each step in their cleaning process, and they were both very courteous and professional. They took special care to make sure that their equipment did not cause any damage to our home whatsoever, and were very attention to detail oriented. Whenever possible they even cleaned under the items of furniture that could not be moved, and even cleaned a couple of smaller rugs at our request and didn't charge us for it! These guys were efficient, and our carpet looks close to new, even though it is 10 years old. We were thoroughly pleased with the service and do highly recommend Stanley Steemer for carpet cleaning, and definitely will use them again in the future. I called to make an appointment and told them specifically what areas I wanted cleaned. They gave me the price, but when they showed up they said it would be more. No discussions allowed! Then I offered to have them clean a smaller area for the same price, but their "office" had alredy canceled the job. They said I would have to call back and make another appointment. Honestly I usually clean my own carpets. This time I thought by hiring "professionals" my carpet would be cleaner and dry faster. NOT TRUE!! I could have done a much better job with my store bought machine. Took the two gentlemen less than 2 hours to clean a 4000 square foot home where all furniture except for the big items were moved for them in advance. Next time I should just pay my teenage $40 instead of 400.00. I would probably get a better job done. They left my wood formal dining room table on buffet resting on wet carpet. Learned my lesson. The crew was great and courteous. But the cleaning job was not very good. I do not know if it was the equipment or the operators. I re-cleaned my family room myself with a home machine and I could not believe the dirt I was able to remove after their cleaning. Don't waste your money on the stain protector. I spilled some coffee and tried to remove it, the protector did not help at all. read more
