RLF Heating & Cooling is the ABSOLUTE BEST! Bob Fleming will be my HVAC guy until the day he…read moreretires (hopefully never!). It's difficult to explain how much I recommend RLF Heating & Cooling. Where do I start? In mid-June of 2026 both our upstairs and downstairs A/C systems were completely dead. Bob Fleming came to the rescue in a big way! It was H-O-T hot! And it was very uncomfortable to sleep upstairs with no A/C. We decided to install a SEER20 Bosch 36k BTU Bosch heat pump A/C system, which supplies both A/C and Heat at a cost effective rate. It was a big project that also required replacing the air handler in the attic. Since this wasn't going to happen overnight, Bob went out of his way and bought 3 new window AC units for us to use upstairs (which he installed) until the work was completed. He didn't charge us a penny for these. He let us borrow them for free! That bridged the gap perfectly. The new A/C system works perfectly! It's quiet, efficient, and very professionally installed, along with a smart Ecobee thermostat that I quite like. The heat pump also supplies heat during the winter. Bob smartly set it up so that it automatically uses the heat pump when the outside temperature gets down to as low as 35F. If the outside temp goes below 35F, then the energy source automatically transitions to our pre-existing natural gas system. Supposedly that's the sweet spot to use both systems as effectively and cost-conscious as possible. It's brilliant! Bob also reinstalled our old A/C lines that went to three different mini-split systems on the first floor. He professionally pressure tested everything, and it's all working perfectly. Bob was so polite, asking whether it was okay to work past a certain hour as he wanted to get the job done as quickly as possible, while also respecting our family's privacy. He cleaned all of his work up leaving nothing behind. That summer, I felt in a strange way that Bob became an extension of our family. He was so polite to all of us. We thoroughly enjoyed having him around the house, and completely trusted him. I am so fortunate to have found RLF Heating & Cooling. His reviews were fantastic. That's why I reached out to him for our projects and he still totally surpassed my expectations. RLF Heating & Cooling for the win! 100% recommended!

Our last oil delivery, however, Riley & Craven was $1 a gallon over other suppliers, so for the first time in 50 years, we tried another supplier, planning to return to Riley for the next delivery. When our furnace started to act like Stanley's furnace, and because Riley & Craven had just serviced our furnace the month before, we called to speak to a technician. We were treated beyond rudely by a woman named Christine, whose idea of customer service is actually shouting hysterically and insulting a customer of 50 years. I guess one oil delivery from another source negates 50 years of being a customer, which may be your business policy but which is a horrible moral policy. But, just as well. We called the other supplier, and he will be here tomorrow, and their customer service department - after just one delivery - treated us politely and professionally and told us they appreciated our business. I will never go back to R&C, and I will never recommend them to anyone ever again.
