This is a great addition to the South Side! I am always looking for locally owned/operated coffee shops. The coffee and breakfast sandwiches are delicious and the space is great. They have both soft seating and table/chair options.

I love standing wave!!! I have been a frequent flyer at their coffee truck in Oakland since they started and I was thrilled to hear about their permanent location in Southside. Honestly my favorite cup of coffee in Pittsburgh! Not to mention they are sooo nice and friendly. Great service Today we got the Sarah sandwich and two oat milk lattes with smores. The sammie was great especially for the price. The breadworks bread was incredible. They do all their own roasting and their beans are excellent. So excited for them and it's such a nice space.

I've only been here once so I would definitely go back! I do want to try their matcha at some point. I got a cookie butter latte with whole milk and vanilla cold foam. It was a decent coffee and not overly sweet. If you do like super sweet coffees this drink choice may not be for you. The atmosphere in here is calming and the shop itself is small yet inviting. The staff are super friendly as well. I got a 16oz for around $8 which is the standard it seems for the area.

Great coffee, reasonably priced, and I love the ambiance. One of my new favorites in Southside!

We had been to other Redhawk Coffees but not to this specific location. The inside of this shop was actually fairly large with an area with food on the one side including their baked goods under cloches and then a bunch of seating on the other side. In addition to the baked goods they have other things and it's worth mentioning they had a fun array of salty snacks like Chinese Lays (Hot Pot flavors) and also some salmon chips. For my coffee on this morning I decided to go with a honey cinnamon latte while my wife went with an iced vanilla latte. We also added a croissant to the order which our whole family each had a little bit of. My coffee here ended up being quite good as I enjoyed the deep and rich flavor of it. That paired nicely with the milk and you could also easily taste the cinnamon and the honey which was nice. What wasn't as nice was the 7.35 price tag for the 16 oz latte which is definitely on the higher side for the Pittsburgh market. Our croissant here was also good as it was crispy on the outside and light and fluffy on the inside. It also had a great buttery flavor which our whole family enjoyed. The bottom line for me is that I would head back here again in the future. Yes it was a bit on the pricier side but we all enjoyed what we had.
