I had seen their ad on Facebook for flavored syrups for coffees etc, including cherry syrup so I decided to go check it out. I wasn't sure what the price would be but I figured I'd find that out when I got there. I had to go someplace else that direction anyway so it was a good chance to stop in without adding too many miles on my car. I had fun just wandering around looking at everything and nobody bothered me. I finally found the aisle with the syrups and holy cow I've never seen so many choices in one place! You name a flavor and I bet they had it. Then I realized that they also had the sugar free versions of most of them and the price was only $7. Then when I looked across the aisle I saw that they had another whole aisle with a different brand, DaVinci on one side and Torani on the other side. I couldn't decide which brand to get so I just stuck with the first one I found and it turned out to be a good choice. I tasted it as soon as I got home and it tastes just like Maraschino Cherry syrup in a jar which is exactly what I was looking for. I got the sugar free version and it has no artificial sweetener taste that I noticed. I've been using it in my coffee in the mornings to simulate the flavor of Michigan Cherry coffee which I've been craving since I haven't been to Michigan in 10 years. I've also put it in unflavored sparkling water to make a cherry soda. A few weeks ago I had found a bag of those little pouring tops at a thrift store and bought them on a whim so I could immediately put one of them on my syrup to make it easier to pour. It gives me much more control. I bought two or three other things and there were a couple things I was looking for that they didn't seem to have but I was happy when I left. I think everything was under $10 total. The only issue I had and I'm knocking off one star for it is that I picked up a pack of pretty good quality looking toilet paper, just a four pack, and it was marked $1.50. I didn't realize till I got home that I got charged $1.99. That's not a lot of money and it would cost me more gas money to go back and get reimbursed but it was irritating. I'm assuming she probably scanned the barcode and it came up at a different price than what the sticker on it said but it did have an actual sticker on it that said a $1.50. Other than that the lady at the front counter was super nice and when I got a catch in my throat while I was talking to her she went and got me a bottle of cold water for no charge. As hot as it was out I really appreciated that. I would say it's a store that has excellent customer service not to mention a vast selection of large and small kitchen type equipment. If you need a hard to find item, it's likely they carry it. read more

Overwhelming!!! More SKU's of kitchen supply stuff than anywhere I've ever been. Great prices. No fancy fluff in this store, just racks and racks of great stuff. They won't have all the big name, expensive stuff like a Williams Sonoma, but have you ever noticed the restaurants don't use this stuff either! Give yourself time to walk around this whole place. I'm sure you'll find something for your kitchen you didn't even know you'll need until you see it. This is the largest, most extensive equipment supply I have ever been to.! Don't waste your time at the "Chef" store on McClintock. I went there first, what a joke. Cool place to shop! This gigantic warehouse sells almost everything you can think of that is kitchen and/or restaurant related. From large refrigeration units, prep tables, to smaller items such as plastic cups and measuring spoons, you can spend a good chunk of time browsing through all the aisles. We picked up some metal shelving units (For an outdoor bbq table project), 2 spray nozzles, and a few bottles of sugar free flavored syrups. The selection of syrups is quite large, for both regular and sugar free. They sell DaVinci brand, and such flavors included peppermint, chai tea, and pineapple. Check out was odd in that apparently only one lane can use the computer system at a time to pay. As a result, while the check out clerk scanned everything quickly, there was a bit of a wait while she had to wait for the other clerk in the other lane to finish her transaction. Overall though, if you are looking for any type of kitchen wares for a reasonable price, this is a good choice if you're in the area. read more

Lots of great stuff at what seemed to be good prices, however we couldn't get through the first couple of isles it's August and they have no AC! If they did it didn't seem to be working well. It was absolutely miserable. My husband and I had our toddlers with us and we were only in there about 10 min and they were sweating. Definitely have a good selection of items for restaurants or for home cooks looking for some professional tools. I bought a cambro to help rest my bbq after coming off my smoker. They were the only one in Phoenix I could find with one in stock. People were helpful asking several times if I needed help. I thought the store was a little dirty and not the most organized. This place is the worst! I bought a fryer (had it installed professionally for $420 ) had it for 2 days , put oil in it and it leaked all over my floor. Never used it. It's a bad unit. They sold it to me not the manufacturer. I'm battling to get a refund as they don't have any more. I've lost out on several thousands of dollars because of this. They keep telling me I have to go through the manufacturer none of this was discussed as they took my $958. Never will be back! read more

Awesome store it's the best find in Mesa. Everything related to cooking both big and small, storage and mats. What I use most is the coated colored wire shelving. I have a swamp cooled building with very heavy molds. We use the shelving to store plaster molds and build carts on wheels with the shelving to move 200 to 400 pounds around our shop easily. The coated shelving does not rust at all. Everything metal in our shop is rusted except for the shelving carts we buy here. Best of all they sincerely care about their customers and their concerns. Because of Covid-19 I was not willing to go into the store to buy the shelving I needed. Sam talked with me over the phone, ordered in the items that were out of stock, and when I arrived brought them out my truck and loaded them. Because this is similar to warehouse store I did not expect that kind of customer service from them. I am truly thankful and grateful for all they're willing to do for their customers. And I'm glad to have found Standard Restaurant Supply, because it's huge and pretty cool. I saw a little bit of everything here today - pots, baking pans, dishes, utensils, aprons, tablecloths, packaging supplies, furniture, and on up to high end appliances. I came home with a roll of parchment sheets, cupcake liners, a couple of syrup dispensers, a sweet new garlic press, and the resolve to someday win the lottery so I can head back for the industrial mixer and cotton candy machine. read more

This is one of my Top Secret places to go when I'm needing a fun shopping escape or maybe I just need something cool for the kitchen. Plus it's right around the corner from my work and I can easily hit it on the way home. Nice! We do a lot of cooking at my house and the stuff they sell at Wally World or the Red Bull's Eye just doesn't seem to cut the mustard. The equipment they sell here will fit just about anyones needs and you can probably experience some OCD moments while trying to decide what to get. This place is HUMONGOUS inside and goes on for miles and miles. You almost need a golf cart to get around in here. Ok ... maybe not miles and perhaps more like football fields. Usually stick to the cooking and baking areas. So far I've bought a killer Wok and some other nifty Chinese kitchen items, some very sturdy baking sheets and cooling racks, a really cool 16" round Pizza screen for my take home and bake Spinato's Pizzas. Beer me! Also picked up some giant plastic tubs with snap on lids for brining my meats and fish before they go on the smoker, some aprons for when we are making a mess and many other smaller gadgets and gizmos that just happened to jump right into my cart. No Membership needed here and the prices are so much cheaper than the big box stores. They even have all the higher end commercial equipment like deep fryers, ovens, stoves, etc. Way too many items and isles to discuss them all. Just come on over and check them out. Great store that's open to the public. They have a great selection of disposables in plastic, aluminum and foam. They also sell individually making it optimal for home use and small businesses that don't need cases of 1,000 pieces each. They also have an amazing collection of small kitchen appliances at amazingly low prices. Going out of town and needing some supplies so called to place an order over the phone only to be told they can't do that. My employee will be going down to pick up but can't use the company credit card because their name isn't in the card. So what are my options? They have none so now I'm stuck. Holy cow...This place is amazing. You need to buy a single teaspoon measuring spoon....YOU CAN. Need a side-by-side stainless steel refrigerator....you can get it here. Need a popcorn pooper or a cotton candy maker...you guessed it. We just recently discovered this place and have made the hour trip to shop here twice. It is located in an older part of town inside what I am guessing was an old WalMart. The staff here has always been more than helpful and courteous. What a fun store! If you can't find something here it would be shocking. The have a huge inventory of both commercial and home equipment and supplies and it's open to the public. I even found specialty items like cake fondant, top brand food color gels and flavorings and an impressive supply of bakery boxes...they can even special order!
