Again, Chris was wonderful, super thorough in explaining the process, and finding the right spot to mark her ears. He was kind, patient with our little one and just very cool. Would definitely go back time and time again :)

I came in March of 2023 to see the physical location, meet the artists and make a consultation appointment. I was referred to Fred. Fred is a 25 year veteran of tattooing and a straight shooter. He specializes in 3-D tattooing which is what I wanted. I am over 65 and he was kind, honest and explained the science behind what happens to ink in older skin. He told me exactly what I needed to hear to decide the best tattoo for me (and very professionally explained why the design I had picked out wasn't the best for me, nor the location, and why). I was disappointed sure, but I will be wearing this tattoo a long time and highly respect his previous experiences and opinions. Having the facts up front is exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend Chicago Tattoo Orlando. If you want honesty, quality and professionalism this is the place to go. Book your consultation and you will experience them first-hand. What are you waiting for - DO IT!

We reached out to Fuzz and he was happy to work on the designs! He was very pleasant and easy to work with throughout the planning process. When it was tattoo day, we arrived at the shop. It's a super clean space and I love how each artist has their personal flairs added to their areas. Fuzz greeted us and showed us the designs which we loved. He was friendly and professional throughout the whole process and great about checking in to make sure we were feeling well and giving a break when needed. He set up his iPad to have movies on which was a nice distraction while under the tattoo gun. We chatted with a few other artists that came up to check out our works in progress. Everyone there was laid back and friendly. Our tattoos have healed well and look beautiful. I'll be sure to post pics! If you're wanting a tattoo, I highly recommend Fuzz and Ascension (and be sure to check out their other artists' work to find a style that matches your personal preferences; they are all very talented from what I saw!)

When people ask me where is a good tattoo shop in Orlando to get some ink, The East is always the…read morefirst spot to come to my mind. The cleanliness, professionalism, and overall good vibes of the shop makes it a great place for both seasoned tattoo collectors as well as someone getting their very first tattoo. This shop is conveniently located within the Ivanhoe area, neighboring different shops and restaurants. When I came to the shop for the first time a while back... I was honestly expecting it to be a small place with maybe 2-3 artist booths... just because I heard it was located in an upstairs office space... so I figured how big can this place really be? Boy was I wrong... this place is huge. The space held a good amount of booths, I don't know the exact number but if I had to guess maybe 8-10? The decor was spot on classic tattoo parlor full of paintings, and tattoo portraits... but what I had love the most is that each artist booth had its own personal character... full of art and figurines. Now when it comes to the artists... you really could not go wrong with anyone from that shop. There is an artist for every style you can think of and they are very good at what they do. Me personally.... my go to guy has always been Shane since I have been going to him for a few years and the man is a mastermind. Overall, I highly recommend this tattoo shop for anyone who is thinking about getting new art. I highly recommend making an appointment before visiting the shop just because a lot of the artists are usually fully booked for weeks or even months. I do believe the shop will take occasional walk-ins based upon artist's availability...but if not follow them on social media for when they announce their Flash Events, which are a first come... first serve... and the designs are always sick!

If you are looking for a tattoo and no conversation, this is your place! It worked well for my friend and she didn't want to look towards him or see the job being done. However, if you enjoy the banter between artist and client while you're getting a tattoo, I suggest to go elsewhere as both artists I observed are pretty reserved. The shop itself was pretty bland and could use a little updating. But, the tools and equipment were clean and that's what really matters! Ruben did a great job with the tattoo as it was extremely fine lined and on the wrist area. So 5/5 stars for his skills!

They are borderline rude to customers -- very standoffish. Labeled as "the best tattoo shop in Orlando," when in reality, my experience here was so uncomfortable that I stopped getting work done on my leg sleeve for over a year. It left such a bad taste in my mouth about tattoo artists. I waited around for my artist to: eat lunch, go on a walk to the gas station down the street, smoke... No urgency whatsoever. You would think if you can tattoo me super fast (and still do a great job), you would book more people and spend your time more wisely. I was booked for a 4 hour window when I only was being worked on for maybe less than hour. The majority of my time there was waiting around to be tattooed. Such a miserable experience and it's the only shop I've been to that runs like this.
