Staff seems incapable of sending a correct prescription. In one case it took us a month and 3 attempts with different faxes to mail order to try and fix it, finally they got qty correct but no refills instead of 90 day normal 3 refills, meaning having to suffer thru it again!i The office appears to be heavily engaged in processing as many patients as possible for exams and tests but terrible at support or answering phone! I mean abysmal!

At a time when I feared losing my vision due to macular degeneration, she was reassuring and supportive , and always answers my never ending list of questions, and with patience. Another side of Dr. Sang that I recently learned about is her mentorship. There are a group of young college grads working there who are taking a gap year and preparing to get into medical school. She is so giving and proud of how many of these interns have gone on to great careers. Each time you go for an appointment, it's a "major production." There are so many steps in the process and I have come to understand why it takes so long -- they take no shortcuts! There is a huge staff that supports Dr. Sang and each one has a specialty, from the people who answer the phone and make appts. to the people who do complicated eye scans.
