I visited Packaging Depot last November to drop off a parcel with a prepaid shipping label. Came on…read morea weekday afternoon. I had a Fedex delivered parcel that was destined for Ontario. Prepaid label with overnight shipping ready to be dropped off. The young staff lady at the counter accepted it and I was out in 2 minutes. She was already in the middle of helping another customer filling out paperwork for his packages but helped me out as well. She immediately offered a receipt to confirm my parcel was shipped out at the time. Fortunately, my parcel was safely delivered to Fedex on time since I made it before their 3pm pick up time. The day after my Fedex overnight delivery parcel was sent, I checked the tracking status online and it was already in Ontario. As a frequent skytrain transit user, I like the location since it is conveniently located a block away from Oakridge-41st skytrain station. I will definitely come back if I ever have a Fedex package that needs to be dropped off. Really have nothing bad to say about this place. 5 stars.

I can count on Packaging Depot to have everything I need to ship whatever item I have, no matter how big, small or odd shaped. They have also been super helpful in offering options and solutions to some of my more challenging shipping projects. They have an excellent variety of different sized boxes, crates, tape, and bubble wrap. You can either package stuff yourself or they can package stuff for you. The part that I appreciate the most is the fact that they have access to a variety of shippers so they can offer me the most affordable choices for what I need. They are definitely worth the drive here.

I finally had to hire someone else to do it, because they kept making promises later and later which I couldn't even be sure they would keep. They give you less than 24hrs notice and then don't show up, causing you to lose days of work. They also damaged some items during the move. They stored our things for almost 2 months and agreed to pick up the rest of our belongings in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, add it to our existing shipment and deliver everything to Calgary. For about 6 weeks we agreed on the pickup date which was a Monday. On the preceding Friday, we received an email from A Plus that said the pickup date would be on Tuesday. At 9pm on Monday night, we got another email that said that date was now Thursday - the day our family was leaving for Calgary by plane. I said it was not possible. They then changed the date to Wednesday. Their next move was to outsource the pick-up to a trucking company that had multiple pick-up and deliveries to make on Van Island. After speaking with that company, they told me they were shocked to learn that it was a pick-up for personal items, were told by A Plus that it was a simple pallet and then apologized that they were unable to help. I called A Plus immediately and they told me to give them a few hours to work things out. It's now late Tuesday afternoon - hours later - and I haven't heard anything... except my wife complaints and frustration dealing with this company. Would I recommend them to anyone else? The Better Business Bureau comes to mind....
