After shipping all of our belongings from Hong Kong, A Plus acted as the receivers of our shipment in Vancouver, so we did not choose them, it was more like they were assigned to us. They stored our things for almost 2 months and agreed to pick up the rest of our belongings in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island, add it to our existing shipment and deliver everything to Calgary. For about 6 weeks we agreed on the pickup date which was a Monday. On the preceding Friday, we received an email from A Plus that said the pickup date would be on Tuesday. At 9pm on Monday night, we got another email that said that date was now Thursday - the day our family was leaving for Calgary by plane. I said it was not possible. They then changed the date to Wednesday. Their next move was to outsource the pick-up to a trucking company that had multiple pick-up and deliveries to make on Van Island. After speaking with that company, they told me they were shocked to learn that it was a pick-up for personal items, were told by A Plus that it was a simple pallet and then apologized that they were unable to help. I called A Plus immediately and they told me to give them a few hours to work things out. It's now late Tuesday afternoon - hours later - and I haven't heard anything... except my wife complaints and frustration dealing with this company. Would I recommend them to anyone else?
