When I booked, I was told the hourly rate would be $135 (discounted from $149), plus a 12% service charge, and that my starting total would be around $300 before they even began. I was very clear that I did NOT need any packing materials because I already had my own boxes, tape, and supplies. I was quoted $486 for two hours including the service charge and paid a $100 deposit. The movers were scheduled between 8:30-9:30 AM but called at 7:30 saying they were on the way. Once they arrived, my paid time started while I was made to go through paperwork that should have been handled beforehand. The two movers, Thomas and Xavier started at 8:50. At one point, Xavier literally stood there watching Thomas struggle with my bed frame, and when I asked him, "What are you doing?" he replied, "Looking." That alone speaks volumes about the lack of teamwork and professionalism. Around 9:20 AM, I received a call from a company rep asking, "How is it going?" At that point, nothing had actually been moved yet -- they were still wrapping my couch, which I never requested. I didn't make a big deal out of it because it had only been about 45 minutes into packing and I didn't want my dissatisfaction to impact how they handled my belongings, so I simply responded, "It's going." In my bedroom, nearly an hour was wasted trying to take apart my bed because they didn't bring a drill -- basic equipment for dismantling furniture. What makes it worse is that after spending all that time on it, the bed was still left sitting in my apartment, along with my dining table, gaming chair, several boxes, and other items. I now have to hire another company to finish a job that should have been completed. Luckily I packed my own kitchen up even though they offered a free kitchen pack! They would have never gotten to it at the rate/speed they moved . Without telling me, they left my apartment and went to the next stop while I was still packing. The stop was less than half a mile away , they were supposed to drop a bed off and reassemble it. Because of all the delays/lack of urgency , the bed was only dropped off, not set up. When we arrived at the storage unit, I was told my balance was $861, including $135 for materials I specifically declined. I didn't argue -- I simply reminded them that I had already said no to materials and was told I wouldn't be charged. They removed it, bringing the total to $756, which is still far beyond what I was originally quoted for incomplete work. Nearly $800 for incomplete work. No sense of urgency at all! I should've have had a camera rolling but I didn't think that would be necessary. What upset me the most was the lack of accountability. I didn't receive a single apology, thank you, or acknowledgment of the inconvenience. Instead, Thomas got on the phone with someone named Holly on speaker, saying he needed to be paid for all his time. She giggled and said, "I got you, you're good," as if my concerns didn't matter at all. This experience felt disorganized, slow, and misleading from beginning to end. I will never recommend this company. Oh and I decided to take a picture of Xavier after about the 3rd time I walked in and he was on the phone.. I'm not a hard person and I hate babysitting grown people but I guess should have told them to leave the phones in the car and move with urgency!

When All Secure Storage sold the business it became an unmanned facility. All the customer service…read morereps are now over seas. When I initially rented my unit it was $70 per month due the first of every month. When it was sold a couple months later it went up to 80.00 and the late fee went from $10 to $20. The new owner back dated my due date to be the 27th of every month with no regard to the fact that I paid from my account on the first of every month. I asked several times if my due date could be switched back to the 1st and was told yes several times but it was never changed. My storage unit now cost me $170 per month. Part of this is for insurance they require you to pay. I requested a copy of my insurance policy and was told it's not my policy, it's theirs so I've never seen it. I'm just required to pay it. On the 27th of March I went to get some of the things from my unit that belonged to my grandparents and I was going to give my son for his first home and found out that my unit had been broken in to. I immediately called the storage facility and the police. The unit had a new faceplate and lock on it. I contacted the facility and was told that in the notes it states my unit had been broken into. I asked why I was never contacted and the lady replied, that's a good question. At that time I was given the insurance number and called to make a claim. I was told I am required to have a photo of the prayed faceplate or the broken lock. I reached out to the storage management and after a month of waiting on this photo from the groundskeeper, I was told they have no photo. Which means I can not file a claim on the insurance I've aid for all this time. If you know I can't file a claim unless I have a photo of the broken lock or faceplate, why would you not take a photo. My only guess is so that I can't file a claim. I have been in the phone with these people for hours over the last month and paid a lot of money to the and for insurance and I can't even file a claim. Today I went to remove a lock they put in it when it was broken into and was told she could not give me the combination because I owe money. I explained to her today is the first day it is due. After 30 minutes of reminding her what my contract said she finally gave me the combination. I asked if there is someone here local I can speak with regarding everything and she explained that they are overseas and I can't have the groundskeepers information. I guess my only option is to sue. This is terrible service! I can't even give them a star. I wish I could take some away.
