The event center is beautiful and so big! We sat towards the back half of the event center and it was so nice being able to see the screen and stage. Regardless at how tall the person in front of me was, the staggering of the seats didn't block my view. I'm pretty sure no matter where you are sitting, it's still a great seat. There was a 20 minute intermission for the singer and band members to take a break. Of course we headed to concessions to grab a drink. It was nice how they had it set up. The line went really fast and guests were being helped at a great pace. We were able to get our goodies and head back to our seats pretty quickly. I know there are a lot of events that happen here. I need to be more proactive and see what they are. The venue is so pretty here. The seating is comfortable and nice. It was cool to have my first experience at the Morrison Center tonight. I look forward to coming back again soon for another one.

Despite flying in outside talent, I've seen better high school performances. Only a few performances stood out. One actor did a decent job and clearly understood the text, though he was surprisingly calm for a supposedly manic character. Two others were ok; one started badly but turned it around, while the other started strong but lost momentum. Most of the performances felt very one-note. One monologue had decent emotion but lacked any kind of range. The performances were also stiff, as if they were acting only from the neck up without using their bodies or playing off one another. There were also several moments where the cast simply didn't commit to the moment. Additionally, there were some odd creative choices, like a father with a Southern accent while his son played it like a character from Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure. Even for a modern adaptation, it just clashed and felt incredibly out of place. Although, I wouldn't fully blame the actors, I feel like another director might've pulled better performances out of them. Ultimately, we ended up leaving during the intermission.

It's an improv comedy show where each "team" competes against each other through different improv games to earn points with help from the live audience's suggestions. Fast paced, great fun, and an awesome show to take anyone to who enjoys live entertainment! The venue is smaller, with around 40 or less (give or take) seats so reserving your tickets online before you attend is KEY. Otherwise, you'll get turned away at the door. It's a smaller and more intimate setting which I found myself enjoying more than a huge auditorium with a distant stage - you're very close to the action! I will put my words in concrete to let everyone know that this coffee joint has the best Chai and staff, hands down! You can't compete with this shop. They are always on point. Thank you to the two baristas working last Saturday afternoon(7.25). The both of them took such good care of me. They were kind about getting me a non communal lid and straw. I have to be so careful with germs and my new kidney. No hesitation, they provided me what I needed to be safe. Your kindness speaks volumes! And I appreciate you so much for it! While the museum gets mixed reviews, we found it very nice and it was a highlight of our visit to Boise.

So far I have been there twice, once they had a live band that was handing out sex toys to the crowd, and the other night they had a DJ. Nothing crazy with the drinks, but the crowds were a pretty good size on both nights. This place is 2 stories, with the bathrooms upstairs and pool tables on both floors. Arcade games as well. Lots of seating. I would recommend checking this place out for something different than most of the other places.
