In Creative Writing, I was surprised to see my older son showing interest in writing. Teacher Ish was able to help him develop his story further and even to the point of publishing as a book later on. That inspired him to want to keep writing and develop more stories. The theater class was so fun. The kids were able to experience all the aspects of theater performance. From remembering lines, character interaction, voice projection, performing in front of a large audience and much more. Teacher Ish had good control of the class. Her advice on how to carry themselves for the play will benefit their character development well into adulthood. There was an assistant, Mitchell, who was very helpful, and plays the guitar. One thing that was challenging was to try to go to all the classes/rehearsals. But it worked out at the end and the show was funny and engaging. I strongly recommend this class. You can tell he has done this for a while. My friends and I took this improv class to try something brand new and walked with joy, confidence and a newer perspective. ANYONE can do improv. I've never felt so free and not in my head in a while. Plus.. 2 hour class for the rate was absolutely the best deal. Highly recommend to anyone (you don't need friends to do it with since you'll make them there!)

Bring something to sit on like blankets or seat cushions because it's metal bleacher seats that is hard to sit on for the 2hr show. Show is suppose to start at 7:30pm, but they started at like 8pm. There is a 15-min intermission after the first hr. NO Animals in this Show. Clown is like a Pee-Wee Herman named Alex. Started out with a guy that sang a Mexican song & Frank Sinatra's "My Way" in English. Some acrobats & Alex pulled guys in the audience to do some silly stuff like boxing match & something else. Guy balanced stuff in his mouth or nose, some magic tricks. Second act more of the same kinds of stuff. Kinda meh show, I think some kids enjoyed it though. Bathrooms - pit toilets & hand washing stations outside the main seating area, but still in the tented area in back. Eat & drink before going or sneak in food & drink. Prices are crazy expensive: hot dog $4 sno kones $8 Lemonade $4 Popcorn Small $6; Lg $7 Cotton candy $5 Nachos $6 Soda & Water $3ea They took digital pictures from our seats & then turn around & sell it to you if you want to buy it.

It was amazing to see how quickly the staff made him feel welcome and cared for. The program is incredibly well-rounded and engaging. Throughout the camp, he explored different styles of painting, dance, yoga, public speaking, educational games that helped build his vocabulary, baking, and so many other fun activities. Every day brought something new and exciting. What really stood out to us was how genuinely caring and attentive the staff are. They take the time to understand each child and provide personalized care and encouragement, which made a huge difference in our son's confidence and enthusiasm. The biggest surprise for us was seeing him develop an interest in activities he had never been excited about before. That speaks volumes about how inspiring and supportive the environment is. A friend of mine was participating so I went to attend it. I thought I will check out her performance, meet her and will come back but I stayed there for the entire event. Their dance performances were soooo good. Overall 10-12 dance groups performed. Toddlers, kids, youth, and adults all were part of different groups. I was amazed that they could train toddlers as well. It is one tough job, I must say. Kids danced well and co-ordination was good. It was surely difficult to teach them as well. Dances by youth were great and it was apparent that they were their students from a long time. Dances by adults were good and most people in the group had never performed in their entire life. Now this is surely a motivation to learn to dance ;) There were 3 performances by their advance students and they were mind blowing. Their moves and performances were so mesmerizing that you will have no idea about your surroundings and time. I loved all of their performances and will surely join them in future. To my delight and amazement, Reshmi and Mahi, her company partner, squeezed us in on the incredibly short time crunch. We had 5 lessons and the entire process was fun, enjoyable and SO worth it. Mahi and Reshmi are patient, friendly, and their passion for dancing and helping people genuinely comes through in their lessons. They listened to us, made suggestions on different steps and always gave me and my fiancé constructive criticism. I was also blown away by the variety of dances Reshmi and Mahi are trained in: from salsa to Bhangra, western, formal, and waltz, they make everything look good! And he was NOT "taught" anything. He's a naturally good singer, so he sang well. They did NOT provide any voice training. I was hoping they would coach him on movement and dance basics but they did NOT. In summer camp, kids with smaller parts just sit around, there is no coaching to fill their time. They just "play games". In short, it's a lot like everything else. They provide a platform. If the child is naturally talented, motivated and lands a good part it's great. For the rest, it's an activity to check off.
