Okay, so this was the last stop on our Naughty Elf pub crawl, and as such, I can't really say I remember much... The raspberry Jell-O shots had pop rocks sprinkled over them which was fun and tasty. I think the ambiance was dive bar / sorts bar / wood paneled and smelled like beer but I really can't remember. I do remember the lovely Spensyr forcing me into a Photo Booth! The bartender had no idea what I meant when I referenced my bonus Yelp! crawl coozie but still managed to find me one. Somehow, after this we did a couple more bars but the Jell-O shot was our favorite drink of the night. read more

We stopped here while on the Savannah SlowRide and had a very positive experience. The bartender Joe was amazing. We enjoyed our pop rock Jell-O shots and the prices. Later that night we returned and we are glad we did! While it wasn't super busy, we enjoyed the vibe and drinks. read more

This place is ridiculous. You pay extra for "vip" which promises a folded chair .. this place is SO difficult to find & then they force you to pay extra to get in because it's a two drink minimum.. this place shouldn't charge more than 10$ to get in tops and we ended up paying almost $100 to get in. Such a fun spot!!! We were dropped off here during our pedal pub tour. The driver said we get a discount on our drinks. BUT if you are a bride you get a free t-shirt!!! Stafford's is a bar I've been going to for a very long time as someone who is born and raised in Savannah Georgia. Almost all my experiences with Stafford's has been pleasant but unfortunately there is a specific bartender here (Vince) that is extremely miserable with his life or either he just doesn't like me and my friends/family when we come in. I don't think I've had 1 good experience with him. He loves to make slick comments but then quickly turn around as if he's scared of confrontation? Our latest experience was last night when my cousin went up to the bar to order a round of shots for our group. After Vince made the shots my cousin decided to order 1 more for someone we didn't originally think wanted one. Which he huffed and said "you couldn't have said that to begin with" which then of course he immediately turns around quickly. We didn't say anything and still tipped well as always but I simply just don't understand how doing your job could make you such an angry person. I mean maybe it's because he's short and bald? Idk that's not a problem I personally have to deal with so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt! read more

One of the bars that does not do a pat down and doesn't charge a cover on this strip. I am pretty sure this place is haunted. We showed up to this place on a Friday and one of the pool table was missing a cue ball, since the other table was being used and we already paid for a game we decided to use one of the colored balls. There was only one bartender slinging drinks and it took well over 20 minutes for me to get a drink - He was tending to people he knew or cuties. I am not much of a looker or a local. We left after someone else in our group had to wait 15 minutes and still didn't get a drink. I told my group that I would prefer not to go to this bar again. The next day we ended back here again... This time both pool tables had the cue ball and there were two bartenders this time. The same guy was there from the night before. I didn't order drinks this time. One of the restroom had it's toilet seat knocked out but it was still laying on the ground in case someone needed it. Luckily, we didn't end up at this bar the next day! read more

This is an amazing place, tucked between two dance clubs with an iconic bridge across the alley of Factor's Walk. The building is circa 1870 and says so proudly above the entrance. They play good music, but it's dead here. They also have beer pong and darts. They also have pop rock jello shooters which are SO good and only $1. Definitely make this bar stop #2 and then go elsewhere, because it's not very lively. read more

Awesome bar, with great energy. The bartender Sal was great, friendly and prompt. We were lucky enough to meet Brian while walking in and he was so incredibly hospitable. He took the time to give us some advice for how to enjoy Savannah and really went out of his way to share great spots to check out after Stafford's. read more

If I could rate this place less than one star, I would. Bartender was discussing our group with a bald middle aged man at the bar. The things they were saying about us and women in general were absolutely disgusting. Bad service is one thing, but sexually degrading women is on another level of disrespect. I also work in the service industry and would never talk about people in this nature. It's a little dive bar, so it's not like we expected much, but we are out to have a good time. Would not go back to this bar solely based on that. Otherwise, Jell-O shots were good and the bar had a lot of fun activities to keep you entertained. read more

On a slow ride Stafford's was one of our stops and what a fun spot! It felt a little hidden which added to the ambiance. The bar is big and a lot of room for big groups, plus the games were fun! Only negative was the service. Our bartender definitely didn't seem like she wanted to be there but everything was still served up timely and correct. read more

My friend & I were walking by and they were playing drake followed by pitbull... sold! we went inside atmosphere was super cool. It was mid day and not many at the bar (Tuesday) the bartender was awesome!my friend and I even closed out to check out a few more spots but ended coming back later at night. Before we left He even paused the music to sing happy birthday to my friend on his ukulele! inside they have a 5.00 photo booth & sharpies to write all over the walls! This is one of the most relaxed and outstandingly welcoming bars in all of Savannah. With other places giving you the "in crowd" vibe and an unwelcoming feeling. Staffords is the place to head to I'd you are looking for friendly people and staff that are excited to have you in their city. The drinks are a great price and their specials are really great. Especially the tequila they make a point to stay away from the horrible well level shots your friend once ordered you. This place is too notch and always my first stop when I am in town. read more

Was our first stop on our slow ride Bike tour. We were with a bachelorette/bachelor party. After reading other reviews it seems Brides get a free shirt that was not offered by your "lovely" bartender. I could of really cared less about the bartenders attitude, but our whole group commented on it. Keep in mind, we are in our mid-late 30s. We aren't 21 year old college students ordering $2 drinks and tipping $1. And most of us have worked in the service industry. But it seems it wasn't just our group she was unpleasant with. At the next bar I overheard another slow ride bike tour group complaining about her. And it looks like based on your other reviews it may just be her personality not a "bad day". I will say the atmosphere and music were great! Definitely would visit this bar during the night but Savannah slow ride might want to consider choosing another bar to start their tour off with. read more

Such an awesome bar! We are visiting on vacation and stumbled across this place and had the best time. It overlooks the water, and they have a special for 50% off any bombs when a cargo ship passes by. The bartender, Chelsea, was great and gave us tons of recommendations on things to do. They recently opened so don't have many reviews but I'm sure they will follow because it's a great place! Highly recommend checking it out. They have live music some nights and lots of fun games, too! read more
