I walked into Bea's studio and immediately sensed that I was in a good place. She almost read my mind as I showed her the paintings. I said I was in no hurry and left them with her. I had some items from the artist, Christo, that I never knew how to frame. I thought I had a good idea and returned to Bea's studio with my brilliance. As soon as I put the items on the table and explained what I wanted, Bea had a much better solution. Loved her idea. I picked up all the items about a month or so later and was very pleased with the results. Needless to say, I've been back with more and will be a repeat customer. Bea and her staff know what they're doing.

Whether you need to frame some art or need professional assistance with installation, Lewis Framing Studio is without a doubt the place to go. Their work is museum quality. We tried to work out a design with them for a project and it took three weeks to text us a layout. We weren't happy with the layout, so we came back in and altered the project. After they said they could do the second layout, they contacted us and said they couldn't complete the job as we wanted. We had already put a down payment for the work and when they couldn't do the work to our liking, they charged us 120 dollars for a layout design (they wanted to charge us more, but we settled on this amount). Go to Mo's they are night and day more professional and hashed out the design and a computerized layout on the first visit in 20 minutes, Mo's could do what we wanted, highly suggest staying away from AP&F and go to Mo's !!! We were never informed the layout time would cost money and when we stopped the job, they got mad and demanded money. Compare that to mo's we left with a computer designed layout from the start and they had 100% confidence they would complete the work to our satisfaction and even ordered software updates to their mat cutter !

The staff were pleasant, helpful, expert and attentive to the needs I had for matting and for framing. I could not be happier with the whole experience. We all want to get a bargain or save money, but most of us want those things without compromising on quality and final product. I am happy to share, I was able to get a reasonable cost and a fantastic frame for my special piece of work.

The message on the voicemail is not professional. I thought it was someone's residence, and the voice mailbox was full. I decided to just go and check it out. I discovered after I arrived that the owner had just passed away. There was a wait because the woman working at the counter (I believe it is the late owner's wife) didn't know what she was doing. I hope she is going to sell the business because she was stressed out and unprepared. Unfortunately, the store was out of 1/2 the items I needed for my class. I was about to pay for the few items they had and I told the woman that I was happy that students were offered the discount. The woman replied "No. My husband didn't do that". I calmly said that I was disappointed and would go somewhere else. She snidely remarked that that the discount would have only been around $3, so why didn't her business pick it up? I decided to buy the items. After she rang up my credit card she wasn't able to provide a receipt because the tape ran out. She didn't know where the tape was and said that I would have to wait for her staff member to replace it because he was with a customer. I told her I had to go so I wanted her to reverse the charges. She told me that I needed to calm down! No potential customer should have to deal with that kind of abuse. Posner's Art Store is so much better. Two people welcomed me. The store has a kit with everything I needed and I was out within 5 minutes!

Invaluable Educational Experience…read more What a masterclass in customer relations! I visited Sarnoff with a $250 budget seeking a quality ballpoint pen for daily professional use, and the staff provided exactly the guidance I needed. Their response to my needs, budget, and requirements was artfully pretentious. The combination of casual dismissiveness and practiced condescension when I expressed interest in their luxury pen selection? Remarkable. It takes real skill to make someone feel simultaneously invisible and judged. If I had a pen, I'd have taken earnest notes on their methods. I'm genuinely grateful for this experience. It crystallized my understanding of what I value in a retailer and motivated me to find exactly that elsewhere. Thanks to their tutelage in what customer service shouldn't be, I discovered the perfect pen (a LAMY 2000, ballpoint) from a different small business, one that sadly never learned to efficiently dispatch proles like myself. The pen is magnificent, the service I ultimately received was exemplary, and I have Sarnoff to thank for the educational journey that led me there. Sometimes the most valuable lessons come from the most unexpected teachers. Would I recommend Sarnoff? Absolutely! They're a perfect illustration of how not to treat customers, and provided you've the foresight to bring a pen, you can write your very own cautionary tale. Thanks, Sarnoff!

They came out the tech tried to get the printer in service mode did not know how, I showed him. Tech said it was the print head. I told him I had bought one to have on hand in case we needed it. He installed it, then said he thought it was not an OEM print head cause the writing was a different color. This was not the problem. Spent an hour on the phone with Cannon mostly on hold, to go through the diagnostic he had already done using his computers how to guides. At this point I had no issue I understand how things go. The Cannon tech support told him we need a new mother board for the printer. He said okay and hung up with them. Told me he would go get it from the office. Also insisted the print head was not OEM. Since I have contacted Cannon and verified it was an OEM print head but they sent me a replacement any ways. The tech never came back. After multiple emails and phone calls they finally told me I had to fix it on my own. Apparently, what irritated them was I had bought the print head from Cannon not them. The owner wrote that out in an email. Said, "I am reluctant to work on equipment of customers who don't buy parts and supplies from us." It was a print head for goodness sake. I was willing to purchase the mother board and anything else need to get this running.

When I inspected it at home, I noticed something I felt needed correcting. I brought it back for the rework. Honestly, I own at least part of the responsibility of the issue - if not all - by failing to make my instructions clear to the framer. They took the work back and cleared up my concerns completely and perfectly! I could not be more pleased! And never did they say anything about my lack of instructions.
