Nice seating area, very friendly town. Makes a nice and safe area (Bixby Police Department is right by there) perfect for date night or taking the family out for a nice ice cream treat and walk.

So that's actually a positive in my book. The bathroom was well stocked and they have chocolate sprinkles embedded into the floor, so that's kind of a cool touch. The only negative would be that The person working behind the counter is a little socially awkward and doesn't greet you much when you come in. But when I made the first contact and explained that I was on my first visit here she quickly jumped into action and helped me understand what to do. And they did have a clear menu unlike a previous poster said. My friend enjoyed his ice cream too. And I thought their prices were good. It was only five bucks for my ice cream. It was a little small, but some places would charge you almost twice that.

Everything about this cute ice cream shop feels like the kind of place every small town... main street should have. Buzzing with families, friends and couples on a sweet date. The outside seating puts you right on main street which is fun to watch the downtown energy, making it a fun stop for people-watching, summer evenings, and casual family hangouts. The ice cream is creamy, rich, and packed with flavor without feeling overly heavy. Regular scoop is $5.00 which is the avg. price of competitors. Whether you go for a classic scoop or one of their colorful shaved ice desserts, everything tastes made for hot days and happy moods. This ice cream shop delivers old-fashioned feels. Sweet Shack Creamery isn't trying to be overly fancy -- it's trying to be fun, and nostalgic, which I love so much. I wish more ice cream shops were like this! A great little downtown stop for families, date nights, or anyone wanting dessert with a lively atmosphere.

When I entered, I was greeted by the smell of ice cream, the view of vibrant pink and blue colors of the store, and what looked like massive sprinkles on the wall. There were a few people in front of me in line, but it moved quickly and there was minimal time waiting. After sampling several different flavors, I settled on Bake Shoppe. This is a cookie dough ice cream with large chunks of chocolate chip cookie dough and brownie bites scattered throughout the creamy ice cream. Pricing was about $5 for a single scoop, which is in line with similar stores. There was plenty of seating throughout the store, and each room contained a different theme. These themes included a game room and a music room. There is also plenty of outdoor seating as well. Despite there being quite a few people savoring the beautiful summer evening on the front patio, I found an open seat and watched the traffic of downtown Jenks roll by the shop as I enjoyed my ice cream.

I had a strong craving for froyo after a work meeting, and drove about 20 minutes from where I was…read moreto appease this craving! Cherry Berry is actually located in Broken Arrow, and perhaps even the more "run-down" area of town. The neighborhood itself seems safe in daylight, as there was a ton of traffic when I was around on a Saturday around 4pm. However the buildings seemed to look like they were on the "older" side. Even so, this didn't stop me from getting froyo! I helped myself to a mix of cotton candy and salted caramel, which I then topped with cookie dough and brownie pieces, as well as popping mochi. I didn't see any regular mochi, which was a surprising disappointment! I paid about $6.75 for 10 ounces, and thoroughly enjoyed the cotton candy flavor. The salted caramel wasn't as much of a favorite, but was still delicious. There aren't too many froyo places in Tulsa, so I'm glad Cherry Berry is around in that regard.

The food was better than I expected; we ordered the BBQ chicken pizza (lunch special, drink and ice cream included, $12) and a kids meal portion of fettuccine Alfredo ($3). Both meals were hot and had good flavor. The kids portion was a decent size as it included a few pieces of seasoned bread. The pizza was big enough for two to share! Certainly worth the price. Our drinks did come without ice which I thought was odd but didn't have a chance to ask anyone about it. The ambiance was nice but I think it could be improved. The music in the back was a bit loud, especially with TVs playing two different audios as well. I did like the kids zone area and we will definitely return to use it! I only saw one high chair in the restaurant so I had to wait for another family to be done using it. Overall, I would recommend the pizza at Bria's and the kids zone for busy toddlers!

The wait was long and the staff seemed like they were slacking a little. Our pizza was burnt. It baffles me that they sell bottles of water instead of glasses and give paper plates and no utensils to serve the pizza. It's obvious it's a work in progress and maybe there's a management problem. I have still not tried their desserts and I hope that those are what they're good at because it seems like the pizza restaurant part is an afterthought.
