I've been wanting to get back to Stacy's for quite some time. I was here in the past for dinner and remember having a nice steak while enjoying the supper club vibe. My friend and I decided to pop in here for a quick bite before a game just to check it out again. We arrived late afternoon before the dinner rush. It started picking up just as we were leaving. Our server, Jess, was real nice and welcoming. She got our drinks and started us off with a basket of warm bread and some classic crackers. I ordered the French onion soup. The cheese on it was absolutely delicious and the broth was pretty good as well. The onions were disappointing. It seemed as though it was the outside part of the onion...the layer that you throw out when peeling it. Jess recommended the rib appetizer plate. It was really good and we were glad she steered us in the right direction. We plan to go back sometime for dinner and maybe even catch a night when they have live music. They have gaming on the back wall past the bar, and there's a small parking lot out front.

After dinner drink........Baileys...with....cinnamon....vodka......mmmmmmm...looks as good as its going to taste......

I have driven Mannheim numerous times, always wanting to try it. This is a small neighborhood place; the bar and 6 slot machines take up half the restaurant. We were seated at a booth along the windows. My friend noted that the booth seats are not anchored down, and every time they got up or sat down, it was felt by my friend, I'm sure the opposite was true as well. Our table was in the bar area, and it was LOUD. It was Friday night, and many patrons were out for a drink with friends. The room in the back would be much quieter. There are two ways to approach this restaurant their burgers are very reasonably priced, starting at $11.50, going up to $14.00. Othe sandwiches start at $15.00 and go up to $17.00. There also is a Butt steak sandwich for $23 and a Prime Filet Steak Sandwich at $25. The other side is the steak or seafood place; dinners start at $24, going up to $65 for the surf & turf or $66 for the twin lobster tails. I had the Butt steak & fresh catch of the day. Today's catch was Sea Bass (different from Chilean Sea Bass). The preparation on the sea bass was excellent! Tender and succulent. The Butt streak was also excellent. It was served with a choice of potato and steamed broccoli, cauliflower, and carrots. My friend had the Stacy burger with cheese and was very satisfied. Another friend ent for the queen's cut prime rib. He said it was pretty standard as prime rib goes. He did order the garlic mashed potatoes and found them not to his liking. In fact, no one at the table liked them... and I love garlic. The potatoes felt dry and greasy at the same time. The texture was also off-putting. We would come here again.

Stacy's is an old school gem. The food is delicious and the portions are generous. Neighborhood feel with friendly staff.

My friends and I have stayed away from here due to rude staff, riff raff, fights, etc. in the last several years. We decided to give them a try a week ago as we were assured by another patron that it was under new ownership. The new owners supposedly cleaned house and removed all the previous troublesome staff. Everything seemed to have improved from our visit here a week ago, but that's because Michelle was not there. We had zero issues with the staff that day, we were served without issue, and overall we thought the renovations were an improvement. The prices have gone up but they have added premium beverages to their selection. Unfortunately, Michelle was not included in the staff overhaul, and mistreated my friend during a recent visit. It is a real shame that The Cordial Inn continues to have problem bartenders, because this place *used* to be a gem. It's now a far cry from cordial. The interior renovations are not worth it for any of us to tolerate disrespectful behavior from bar staff. I am beyond offended that the new owners allow the bar staff to treat customers badly. There are plenty of other choices in the area, and my choice is to spend my money where the staff appreciate my money and patronage.

There is no Yelp page for this business so these reviews will be misleading. The signage for this place is still Anna's but it is really a whole new restaurant with a new menu. We dined in for lunch today. It is pleasant enough inside with a few tables and about half of the space devoted to a bar and slots. The food is excellent and you wont find anything like it in the immediate area. It is New Orleans style food, things like Po'boy, etouffee, jambalaya, fried seafood and seafood boils. They even have beignets! My husband had the etouffee which he said was delicious. The shrimp Po-boy was excellent. Very crispy and the right amount of heat. The server was very helpful and attentive. The Nutella beignets were wonderful! I hope this restaurant establishes its own Yelp page and gets their own reviews. Unfortunately it is kind of confusing as there is no signage identifying it as a new place with a new menu. It really looks like just a slots place and the parking is confusing because there are two lots adjacent to the building that are not for this place for some reason. They were both empty. There is another lot just to the east where you can park. I hope this place can solve the identity issue because the food is so good and I would like to see it stick around.

It's about $8 a pint. Kind of a lot but they make smaller batches of these. Best one we had of these was the Hazy In The Name Of. This is a New England Hazy IPA, a classic style. Made with citrone and nectaron hops. There's notes of citrus, lime, passionfruit, and peach. Has a few things to munch on. It's about $7 for the Knotty Pretzels. Comes in a big bag. These are a great combination and big enough for sharing. For sure there's lots of great beers. It's actually open daily which is especially rare for a brewery to be honest. While I'd liked the beers I'd been able to try in the past, it was nice to see their taproom. It's basically 2 halves, with the bar on one side, then a more cozy area with lounge chairs and tables and high tops on the other. There are TVs on both sides, so you'll be able to watch whatever game is on no matter which side you sit. It was also nice to see they had the Chicago Sports Network channel, the new channel for Bulls/Sox/Hawks games, as a lot of places/people don't have it. They had quite a big tap list, I tried 4 throughout the night-2 week vacation, Gold as Hell, Movies on Mars, Black Eclipse. All good, the first 2 were definitely my favorites. They sell a few snack items, or you can bring food in. Bartender seemed like a really cool guy. No real street parking, but there's a big shared lot in back with plenty of space. Very glad I finally made the trip out here, and would happily come back when there's some new beers on tap.
