It has taken me a while to write this review because I genuinely don't like leaving negative…read morereviews. I also want to preface this by saying that I was home working in my office while the cleaning was being done. Looking back, I should have done a more thorough walkthrough before the cleaner left, and I take responsibility for that. The woman who came to my home was kind, punctual, and polite. I have absolutely no complaints about her professionalism or demeanor. I have lived in my home for seven years and have never hired a cleaning service before. I clean every week, and I feel our home is generally well maintained. My daughter was coming to celebrate her 30th birthday, and I wanted to reduce some of my stress by treating myself to a professional cleaning. I was given a quote of $350, which I felt was fair, so I booked the appointment and also gave a tip I felt was fair. The areas being cleaned were limited to the kitchen, living room, three bathrooms, and part of the primary bedroom. Three bedrooms were not included, nor did I request the shelves in the living room or entertainment center to be dusted. We have some collectibles and even I hate dusting them so didn't want to burden anyone else with it either. When the cleaning was finished, my husband asked if I was happy with the service. Before I even said anything, he commented that the house didn't look as clean as I usually leave it and that several areas appeared to have been missed. For him to notice was surprising because he rarely comments on cleaning. As I looked more closely, I found several issues. The stainless steel stove hood, cooktop, and refrigerator all had noticeable streaks. The floors also had streaks in several areas after being mopped. The baseboards had not been cleaned in the areas the checklist says they will, and the bathroom light fixtures had been overlooked. Ultimately, I ended up re-cleaning many of the areas myself. Again, I acknowledge that I should have completed a detailed walkthrough before the cleaner left. However, for the price of the service plus a substantial tip, I expected more attention to detail. The cleaning took approximately 2 1/2 to 3 hours, and I have been left feeling that I could have put that money toward celebrating my daughter's birthday since I ended up cleaning and doing most of the work myself. Another disappointment was that, before the cleaner left, I asked about scheduling monthly service and was told someone would contact me. That appointment was in mid-April, and I never received a follow-up. At this point I wouldn't move forward with recurring service anyway, but it added to my overall disappointment. I'm glad so many other customers have had positive experiences, as those reviews are what led me to choose this company. Unfortunately, my experience didn't match those expectations. My advice to future customers would be to do a thorough walkthrough before the cleaner leaves to make sure everything meets your expectations

She also helped us select the contractors to do the work and was in conversation with both us and the contractor during the entire remodel. They knew I was trying to have my home cleaned before giving birth the following week. She arrived with her father, who was helping clean. Unfortunately, two of my ceiling fans now have broken fan blades/panels after the cleaning. The areas I specifically asked them to prioritize "couldn't be finished due to time," yet I was told how easy it would be for my husband to remove vent covers and clean them himself--which was frustrating considering I had hired and paid for a cleaning service. Also, be aware that when you're told you'll receive "2 hours" of cleaning, that appears to mean 1 hour from her and 1 hour from the person assisting her, not 2 full hours from one cleaner as I had assumed. After my experience, I looked through local community groups and found numerous posts from people dating back to 2019 describing similar experiences. Based on my own experience, I won't be using this company again or recommending them.
