Dentist Roullier-Bunz has retired, and no longer works here. I was referred here by a friend who used to go to Dr. Bunz. So I scheduled my husband, my one year old, and me for an appointment with her in May. They called to confirm our appointment, and they also told us that if we all showed up at 2:15, they could get us all in at the same time so that we wouldn't have to wait long, and so that we could come in the same car. Great! I called back and left a message (again, confirming for Dr. Bunz) saying that we would all come together and hopefully could have our appointments run concurrently.
We arrived at 2:15pm. Some lady came out in a white coat and took me into the back. I thought she was Dr. Bunz. She did my xrays, and then while I waited in the chair, my husband waited with our baby in the waiting room. There was nothing in the waiting room for babies to play on or even magazines to look at. When she finally finished my xrays, she brought me paperwork to fill out for my baby son. REALLY? I wondered why she couldn't have asked my husband to fill that out while he was in the waiting room, but I hurriedly finished the paperwork. Then I asked her if I would be finished by my 3:30 meeting. She looked at me amazed and said, "We won't be done with you by then. And then your husband's appointment isn't until 4pm."
I was exasperated by then. I had already sat around for 1 hour and hadn't even had an EXAM yet. I asked that the doctor just examine my baby's teeth quickly so that we could go home. My husband had been twiddling his thumbs in the waiting room, and did they really think that a 1 year old could sit and wait for us for 3 hours? I told them that we had to leave and that we could come back another time to finish the appointments. Then they brought in a "doctor" (someone, NOT dr. Bunz) who looked at the baby's teeth for 10 seconds. I was a little confused because I wondered why Dr. Bunz hadn't examined his teeth.... (just wait)
After paying $25 for the xrays (seemed a bit steep- we have dental insurance), we left. I told my friend about it, and she said, "Oh yeah, i got a call May 1st that Dr. Bunz had retired and didn't work there anymore." WHAT??! No one ever told me that the Dentist with whom I'd made my appointment wasn't even there anymore- on the contrary! They had CONFIRMED my appointment with Dr. Bunz. I was furious that they hadn't told me that, that they were so inefficient, and that some random Dentist I had NOT made an appt with had examined my baby. I called them immediately and asked them who had done my teeth and why they hadn't told me that Dr. Bunz wasn't there anymore... They didn't even apologize.
Do NOT go to this dentist office. They are slow, inefficient, unprofessional, and expensive. I ended up going to a newer dentist office in Lincoln (Parkway Dental) and they did my xrays, exam, and cleaning in ONE HOUR. AND it was FREE.
