I should have waited and thought about it, because I have been in pain in an area I didn't even HAVE pain when I went in for the last 7 months. I've been in multiple times to give him a chance to fix it. One of them even popped off a month and a half after he placed it, and I was out of town when it came off. I spent weekend in more pain while I waited for an appointment to get it put back on. The last straw was my last visit. I went again to give him a chance to make the crown right, and he fully yelled at me about how his crowns were perfectly seated and I had an abscess and needed antibiotics-this was the 3rd time he'd tried to throw antibiotics and pain meds at me, which I never took. He was completely unwilling to take any responsibility or listen to what I was saying I thought was the problem. He just continued to yell that he told me I might still have to have a root canal (which I don't remember him ever saying) and that I needed to see an endodontist, for which he gave me one referral. In looking at my records, it appears he said he did more work than he did, so I intend to follow up with my insurance to see what they were actually billed for, because he never did a comprehensive assessment and he only worked on 2 of my teeth. It seems as if he looks just hard enough to find a high dollar problem and then sells that to you. He also left my husband and daughter in pain, worse than when they went in. We're looking into our options. Stay away from this guy. After talking to my insurance, I found out he billed for 2 fillings that never happened, as well as an evaluation which I don't think you could consider what he did anywhere near an evaluation. I'm filing an appeal with insurance and a report to the board for fraud and terrible service.

Before coming here, I had one dentist quote me almost $4,000 for cleaning and wanted to pull a tooth. Another dentist also wanted to pull the same tooth. Needless to say, I didn't go back to either one. Majestic was completely different. They were patient, honest, and transparent about what I actually needed. They cleaned my teeth, did a root canal, and put a crown on the tooth the other dentists wanted to pull. It's been a while now and my tooth is perfectly fine! I called my insurance provider and they explained that it is a self-funded employer dental plan. So they don't necessarily have to be "in-network" in the traditional way. The office can call the plan/administrator, verify your eligibility and benefits, and find out what they'll pay for your treatment. Long story short, they were lazy when it came to checking eligibility and told me I would need to pay cash since Medi-Cal was secondary. All they needed to do was make a simple phone call to verify. I could call back and make my appointment again but I won't, this showed me they'd rather take shortcuts than provide quality care.

I was eventually refunded for that in addition to the amount I had to pay out of pocket to have the work fixed by another dentist. By far the worst dental experience I have ever had. While the aesthetic was nice that is the only thing good I have to say. I did not have tooth pains before I went here and ever since I have had terrible pain in my teeth and jaw.I was told I had to have a root canal and they referred me to a place that charged $500 for the just consult alone which did not go towards the actual work itself. I didn't have any pain before I went there and now I experience pain regularly. Not only that but I was also told I needed other root canals. This was untrue. I have since been to a much better/trustworthy dentist office that not only told me that I do NOT need additional root canals but they also had to fix a filling that was done by Lush that I had to pay out of pocket for because it was within the timeframe given by insurance. Therefore I had to pay double to fix the work they did poorly due since the tooth had just been worked on. I discourage anyone from ever going here and having to experience what I did.
