Well, she was right because I had a really good time! Luckily, we went on a Monday, when there was only one other painter there, so the instructor could go at a slower pace. When we arrived, we were greeted and then ordered a drink before the class started. There was just one employee there who was the cashier, bartender, and our painting instructor. I figured there would be instruction and tips and an open forum for questions. And I believe there was all of that, however, nothing that I could actually hear. Everyone should have been given the choice to re-schedule as no one at our table could hear anything. It became SO frustrating not being able to hear that I tuned out hoping we'd get home in Time for the sitter, wishing I could just get the supplies and finish in my comfortable, quiet home with no equines within 6 feet of me.
