I LOVE the fact that the location they collect, sort and package children's clothing in takes place in a building that has been donated to the organization - rent free. I LOVE that the only overhead costs they have are electricity and heat. I LOVE that they are not snobs about the donations and will even pass along gently worn socks and underwear. If a mother chooses not to clothe her children in these items, that is her prerogative, but it should be hers and hers alone. I think that when it comes down to it, most mothers would opt for their children to have then to go without. Besides, that is what bleach and washing machines are for. I LOVE that you get a card with a child's name and age to work from. It gives you a sense of relationship to the child you are compiling a care package of clothes, books and toys for. I especially LOVE that they pray over the children we are trying to help, their parent's and the volunteer group, before you start. I will be back this month....with bags of clothes, toys and games that my friends have helped me put together.

I live in Beaverton, but my daughter teaches in Vancouver, The school where she teaches is a very high poverty school. I choose to take a very large donation over to Vancouver, with the thought it may help some of the kids in her school. When I arrived, there was a man working by the front door, he never acknowledged me until I asked if this is where I should leave donations. I then proceeded to unload my car of four very large containers of clothes, and three bags. By then, there were three or four other employees standing about, no one offered to help take the containers into the store front. When I finally was done with the unloading, not one of the employees even looked my way, or had the courtesy to say, thank you. I wasn't looking for accolades for my "good deed", but a simple thank you would have been appreciated. I spent a lot of time and effort, sorting through all the clothes to be certain only items in very good condition were included, I folded them carefully and packed them. I will find another charity, that is perhaps more appreciative of peoples efforts, the up side is some boys are going to have some nice clothes to wear to school and for that I am thankful.

But they seem to be doing as a little disruption as possible for the customers enjoyment. I really do like come in here. The people are generally really nice. We rented this Grange for a Celebration of Life and were disappointed by our experience. One thing…read morethat was never disclosed during the rental process, discussed beforehand, or included in the contract paperwork was the extent of the video surveillance throughout the building and property. During such a personal and emotional event, we were uncomfortable with the idea of being monitored on multiple cameras. After covering the cameras, the Grange manager arrived within minutes, removed the covering, and confronted us in a manner that felt rude and unprofessional. We ultimately had to contact the board to receive approval to keep the cameras covered during our rental period. What made this especially frustrating is that we carried substantial event insurance and were fully responsible for any damages or liability during the time we rented the facility. Had the surveillance been disclosed in advance, we could have made an informed decision about whether this was the right venue for our family's needs. The following day, during our walkthrough, we found a few empty soda cans that some children had hidden outside and cleaned them up. The manager then showed us footage from the exterior cameras documenting the children's actions. While the cans were our responsibility and we addressed the issue, the experience reinforced how closely the property is monitored and it was extremely uncomfortable to us. My purpose in writing this review is simply to make future renters aware that there are cameras throughout the property that are actively monitored during your event. For some events that may not be a concern, but for a private and emotional gathering such as a Celebration of Life, it was something we wish had been disclosed before signing the rental agreement.

You have a dressing/ style assistant to help search for your size & present yourself for the job you are hunting for, and private dressing rooms to try on the looks that make you feel confident. I enjoyed picking out my outfit/ outfits depending on how I mix & match the items, and felt like I looked ready to walk into an interview with my head held high. Thank you for helping me "dress for success", I wore the green dress I got from your organization to my last interview, and now I'm earning steady $ green thanks in part to the services you offer.
