For the 2 year old students they even have a special outdoor play area with smaller slides and toys for that age group that both of my daughters have enjoyed! Their outdoor space and playground for the prek3 and older students is fantastic too (lots of swings and slides!) and I always felt my kids were getting such a great mix of education as well as fun outdoor time at school. Utilizing sensory bins, painting, motor room, etc. my kids have enjoyed so many fun and educational activities at this school. We have had excellent teachers for the past 4 years we have been here! Even with a child with food allergies I felt very supported by the staff including her in snacks/activities and checking in with me occasionally when needed to make sure she could be included. Even more recently St. Peter has allowed students to bring their own snacks in to accommodate the many food allergies children have nowadays. Ms. Cummins by far has been the best teacher we have ever had. She updates parents daily through the school's app (which not all teachers do!) and I always feel that I know what my child is doing at school by her fantastic communication. Anytime I have questions about something and email her she gets back to me immediately. My family has been so lucky to have her for 2 of our children. She is the most passionate, knowledgeable and caring teacher. Both of my children have learned SO much and grown by being in her class, I will forever be grateful! I would highly recommend this school to anyone in Arlington Heights and the northwest suburbs of Chicago area.

Both my boys had the same 2's teacher since that's how St. Peter does it. We have been so happy and blessed and honestly this teacher is as wonderful as they come. An absolute blessing. I was actually surprised to see another review as we had the exact opposite with that teacher. Mrs. Cummins is honestly a blessing and one of the most amazing teachers. She is the reason we never considered any other option for our second child. She has embraced all the difficulties he has had in this being his first exposure to school. She is openly communicative with all the parents and kids and I can speak for the other moms in the class as well we feel we hit the jackpot with her. When any issues arise she discusses them and works with us to find a solution that best fits our child, us and finally her. Our older son has Mrs. Grissom this year and he is thriving because of her. She treats the kids with kindness, love, and teaches them confidence. My older son was always more nervous in the school settings but she has really helped him blossom. Not only are the preschool teachers amazing but the staff is so incredibly kind and loving. They know your kids by name and ask how everyone is doing. Feeling this level of care has kept us at St. Peter. You can choose anywhere for your child to go but St. Peter has always been accommodating and caring.

Back then my son was in preschool in kindergarten so he didn't really know what was going on but now he's in third grade and he communicates with us perfectly. While looking through his old yearbook together, we stumbled upon this teacher's picture. He said she was very unkind to him with another kid and him were trying to grab an item. He would always give it to the other kid and yell at him . He said he specifically felt singled up by her that she was nice to everybody except him and it was making him very confused but now that he's older and can understand I told him about racism. I told him there's certain people that think they're they're better than others because of their skin color and they like to abuse, helpless little children, while smiling at their occupation, saying that their Christians, that is absolutely disgusting . SHe would always pull him aside and be mean to him while smiling in our faces. My wife thought she was the nicest one there. But she is a racist just trying to cover herself. Christian Heritage Academy you should do better and you should be ashamed of yourself hiring people like that. We trust you with our kids. And we pay you very well for the services. Please get your act together. We are truly disappointed in you 10 thumbs down for you guys.

I can't believe that my 6 year year old boys are already reading in kindergarten! My wife and I can tell that the teachers are truly concerned about our childrens' education, BUT most importantly, we can tell our boys are growing in the biblical teaching that is shaping them into who they will become as young men. Even though we live in a suburb that has so called 'great schools', what they are learning at CHA is worth the tuition. Its an investment in our children future that you just can't get in a public school. Hands down, CHA is a 'must visit' school if you are looking for Christian based education.

From being a Lector/Proclaimer, a Eucharistic Minister, Mass Coordinator and being a Charter Member of the Knights of Columbus, Council 11983. If you're looking for a church that offers a sincere family type experience, I encourage you to become a part of this wonderful parish, even if you have to drive an hour or so to get there! And by the way, bring your smile :) with you! My drive time is 30 minutes!

Nothing was holy -- from the art, the music, the liturgy. It was like a Mega Church giving shallow entertainment, hoping the sappiness stirs the congregation. Nothing Catholic about it. It was a bad imitation of a protestant service. I was horrified from beginning to end. For those who gave a good review, I urge you to find a good Catechism class. Not at this institution, though. Some may attribute dissatisfaction to the fact that this church has "liberal" views. I saw nothing liberal or conservative. I heard nothing liberal or conservative. I would be labeled "progressive" for my political views. Please don't insult liberals by calling what happens at this place such. I'm still in a state of disbelief.

Mom used to volunteer with the funeral lunches with making food, serving and assisting with clean up. She was part of the women's club she was very much involved in the church all of these years. Mom would go to mass daily. My mother will soon be 95 years old and she had been homebound for several years and was unable to go to church. When she was able to go to church it was always 7 am mass and she sat in the front pue. My disappointment was when I had called to the Rectory to ask if someone could please come to my mother's home to bless her and give her communion. The response was "Oh I'm sorry e don't do that anymore. My mother hasn't been able to attend church for almost 10 years now and no one from St. Raymonds even tried to reach out to see if she needed anything or if she was even still alive. Sad that a parishioner for over 50 years and no one remembers. The funny thing is they keep sending envelopes for the Sunday collections and also any other donations they need. Very Sad that they know how to get the donation envelopes to her and she doesn't even live in Illinois anymore. Maybe St Raymonds church needs to learn the true meaning of a Christian and practice what they preach,
