We prefer their 8 ft balsam fir, which is most of what they have in stock. It runs typically $80 and hasn't changed with inflation. The tree lot is a tiny bit confusing because it looks like the trees are being sold by the market next store. But they are all from Ace. The cashier was quick and friendly. Don't go here if you want them to tie it to your car for you, fresh cut the bottom, or wrap your tree in one of those Christmas tree wrapping machines. If you don't care about that, you want a pretty tree that us a great valued tree this is the spot for you.

But When the big box store doesn't have what I need, these guys do. I needed special hardware (hardware is like nuts and bolts) and these guys were the only ones in town who had it. On another occasion I was looking for a vest with a hood, these guys were the last place I went(obviously as they had what I wanted) I went to Tractor Supply, Menards, Home Depot, and Mills Fleet Farm and none of them had what I was looking for. Yes I could of ordered it online but would rather not. I purchased bibs, a winter work coat, boots(once and never again, my work gives me a slip to buy boots) fleece lined jeans. Ect. I buy a ton of stuff from these guys and if you can work through their hours, I fully recommend shopping there too.

It's very hard for me to rate a Menards poorly but this one is far and away worse than any other…read moreone I've been to. I've been twice and the last time I went I headed to the bathroom to find two employees in there complaining one toilet was broken already and that one of the employees had just broken the other one. Both expressed frustration that the toilets were broken, but neither seemed willing to do anything like put up a sign, report the issue properly, or do anything remotely close to fixing it beyond bemoaning the situation to me, a customer and definitely not their coworker. When I reported the issue to someone at the front desk, the lady actually started smiling, almost giggling for a bit, and then eventually realized I was serious and seemed to start listening more carefully. As a customer who expects at least a little more out of the maintenance of the facilities of a -- home improvement store -- I told her I couldn't believe what I was seeing and I left without buying any of what I went in for. Hopefully the place gets their act together and or at least learns how to build a better team that can take care of the place.

We've walked around other stores looking for help and no one seems to bother. Always a helpful team. Placed an order for a BGE and Taylor went out of his way help us order the right set up and then got it to us for the weekend of grilling! He stayed to help us get it started up with plenty of helpful tips and advice.
