Our Mother absolutely loved her night care assistant and so…read moredid we. We had peace of mind knowing that our Mother was so well taken care of. We learned at 1:00 p.m. that we needed care for our Mother that same night. We called Home Care Assist at 1:00 and they met with us at 3:00 the same day. They were able to have a night care giver that same night. After that, our Mother had the same care giver every night, Monday through Friday. Different care givers came on the weekends. They were very dependable and punctual with their service. If there were any changes in the schedule the company communicated well with us. We would feel very comfortable recommending the services of this company to anyone who needs assistance.

I went there to tour the memory care facility and see what they had to offer. Their facility is…read moredefinitely older but nicely kept. The staff I interacted with was polite. I thought the place had a good level of care. I proceeded to have them come and do their so called assignment to place my loved one with them. I observed their question and answer session which was ridiculous to do to someone with dementia. Then they left telling me I would get a call the next day from them. I didn't receive that call at all. I Then made a call to them 4 days later only to be told several false excuses as to why we weren't a good fit. I Then spoke with the director the 5th day who basically upheld the false excuses and when I pinned her down on the fact that what she was telling me was false and they should Just be honest and say they can't care for my loved one properly. She finally did say they couldn't handle the care that was needed. The sad thing is I observed at least 6 or more residents that are in the same level of care that we need so by her omission I guess they aren't caring properly for those residents either. It wasn't a surprise when I found out they are in bankruptcy right now. I would steer very clear of this place.

This facility needs to be shut down immediately in my opinion. As a visitor, I witnessed urine left…read moreon the floor for hours after I reported it. There are roach traps all over the facility. I witnessed staff both ignore and yell at the patients that were in need of medical care, The smell of urine and feces is so strong it burned my nostrils. There was not a chair for me to sit in while visiting, and patients have to provide their own tv's. The water was the color of lemonade. The nurse was "on lunch" for what amounted to around four hours while patients waited in pain, with soiled diapers, hungry, or thirsty. Medications weren't given timely if at all. The kicker here is that unless the nurse signs you out, you aren't allowed to leave unless you sign yourself out. 911 would not come to take the patient to the hospital because it is privately owned. The patient couldn't stand up or walk to get to a car to be transported. I believe people may die if they enter this facility due to lack of care and neglect. PLEASE DO NOT SEND ANYONE TO THIS HORRIBLE PLACE!!!!!!
